| Mediocre. However I recently went to the Seattle Live User's Group and that got me inspired. Hopefully 2011 will see more productivity. |

| Pretty uneventful since I spent most of my "studio time" working on actually building the room for my studio. However, towards the end of the year it's picking up and I feel pretty good about 2011. :) |

It seems like I didn't do much, but in retrospect, 2010 was OK, actually. I started working with two fantastic new singers, finished a half dozen songs or so of my own, and a half dozen or so with other people, had a few songs released under a couple of collaborative projects and one or two more that are overdue and hopefully will be released before year's end. It's definitely getting harder, though, as my son is at that age now (3) where we are able to do a lot more together, so my music time has gotten more limited, but I ain't complaining. ;)
For 2011, I've already started on my album and hope to have the songs complete by mid-year. But, I'm going back to more of my core style, so the album won't be EDM. It's going to be a more organic blend of chillout, triphop, and pop/rock with some ethnic flava. :p |

feel pretty good about my 2010, had a track on a TV show, had a lot of radio support from some big house DJs and finally signed on with a bunch of good labels. all in all i did about 25 remixes and 17 originals with about 45 ideas mapped out just not done. I'm giving myself a deadline to "make it" by 2012 or i'm going back to school and getting on with my life :) (and by "make it" i mean be able to solely live off a music career without a dip in standard of living)
i did make a goal for 2011 to finish a track a week, so 52 tracks in 1yr. We'll see how it goes but my google calendar is firmly sorted with the planning of it all |

Had a 'meh' year, I only did two tracks, one that might not be even qualified for this year (started in 09, finished in 10) but whatever. And started another one a few weeks ago, but too lazy to actually work on it.
Did a bunch of DJing though. |

| It no longer sounds like one long loop or a grab bag full of loops. I don't get stuck as much any more. I would ing start something, and then not finish it. That would drive me crazy and I would feel like banging my head against the table. |

Had a great year in terms of releases, a new album (which we thought we'd never finish), a ton of remixes and a lot of ancillary accomplishments. Easily our most productive year yet.
However, the most important accomplishment was finally figuring out a workflow that works for us. A way to write music that keeps us from getting lost in minor, insignificant details and typical pitfalls. We can usually finish tracks efficiently and with results we can be happy with. |
