You're an idiot. I can guarantee you that hockey players sustain more concussions on a regular basis than MMA fighters. That being said, in terms of popularity, when looked at on a world stage, and taking into account all the non-hockey playing countries - GSP is bigger than Gretzky. Also the fact that GSP's popularity peaked during a time of internet media and social networks means he has way more international exposure than Gretzky ever did in his prime, just look at their fb fan page ffs (1 million for GSP and 50k for Gretzky lulz).
