Thanks FSP and Mise :)

I like it a lot. I think the vocals work pretty good. I like this style with female vox. Great production too.

Hey

I really enjoyed the sample, there is potential in it, it even reminds me in some parts Hybrid productions. Keep it up!

Very nice work. The drums sound fantastic.

Thanks :) If I could ever produce at Hybrid's level I would be a very very happy man! Glad you like what you hear so far :)

Sorry, but i really like this, got all elements in there:

- trance arrangement (sorry for me this is still closer to trance than D&B)
- D&B type breakbeats (a bit too simple atm, but once arrangement is complete, i am sure we will hear more variaton
- Dubstep type wobbles, one can't do without one in a track nowadays.

So, what to do?
would suggest to work on the details, and listen to the latest "ThePerfectMix" podcast from EROS. I really think if you turn this a bit more into breakbeat and put that deep trance vibe on it, you've got a winner. LOVE the vocals (though they need more backings and FX to suck you into the unreal world)

Well done!!!

Hey Raphie,

Thanks for giving the track a listen and for your thoughts. It's interesting that you think this is closer to a trance arrangement than D&B. I'm definitely looking for the 'liquid' D&B vibe, rather than the more traditional harder D&B sound...

I'll give that podcast a listen too!

I intend to vary the drums some more, and I've got some ideas for extra FX on the vox, although I don't want to tinker with them too much. Thanks again for your time!

Mike :)

nice feedback :)

The gate on the perc sounds tight and nice. I think if you made another song with a purported effort, like a satire, you could make some serious moves in the dance music industry. Keep going. And I know you smoke weed so keep packing those bowls up dude :)

Edit: the groove and percussion and style is a lot more innovative than what you are mocking, because this track is actually pretty good. I would suggest slightly layering the synths because I can tell it's a Vanguard, but it does sound nice!

Hey,

This is one of the most confusing pieces of feedback I've ever received...lol. Was it meant for this thread?

P.S. I don't smoke weed, there's no gate on the percs, and Vanguard appears nowhere in this track, in fact I don't even own Vanguard!

:)
