Wow there's so much hate towards ginos here! No one seems to realize that they are also people, EVEN IF they act the way they do. It's not like they're a separate species or something, no matter how much some would like to think of them that way.
They're people with a different style of behaving and living. I personally don't like them, but I'm not going to allow myself to be disturbed by it. When I see greaseball ginos they don't bother me because I choose not to be bothered - I just ignore them.
Ginos, it seems to me, will always be an issue in this city. :eyespop: |

dj danny d is one of the worst dj's.. I went to summer rush (hey it wasnt that bad) and he just ruined everything. his slipmats kept blowing off and he couldn't do one proper beatmatch. and then on the radio when he does his "streetmixs" with his so called "turntables" that he claims to be doing live, every song is perfectly matched with a steady overlaying beat, always perfectly timed up for 15 mins.. sure. I'd like to see him do that in real life. he probably uses an auto bpm matching software. lols |

That is exactly My Problem with DJ danny D. I have no ing clue why this guy get so hyped. I mix the same way he does ( with mp3s hence I do NOT ever call my self a DJ but rather a producer :tongue2) and it sounds much ing better. Do I get to go on the radio? Hell no. gimme the money he is making. I'd get rid of Tony Monnaco too |

You shouldn’t be complaining about the wasted hour bro, last time my buddies dragged me out there I had no choice but to stay until close to the very end, Palazzo being a in the heart of ‘doodbridge’ and that night being a 103.5 certified affair I knew what to expect going in. The scenario from the front door looked appealing, as the amount of nice looking legs on the top of those stairs was reasonably satisfying however once inside one can indisputably state that you should never judge a book by its cover. The top notch broads are off the market and are utterly inaccessible, subtract the stuck up heads and the fat cows with pierced bellies (no matter how disturbing that image is you’ll always find plenty of that kind at Palazzo) and now you are left with a small percentage that needs to be scrutinized meticulously; if you take a close look at those hoochies wannabes it won’t take long to apprehend that not many of them are more than 16 year old. I won’t comment much on the beats as all you need to know is that ‘people’s DJ’ was in charge of ‘dropping the bombs’. A more sorry set I didn’t hear in a while as the amount of cheese exceeded anything a sane mind could possibly expect, from Daft Punk’s one more time to the Nigtcrawlers’ push the feeling up, the torture continued unrelentingly as the format amid the 3 rooms was barely perceptible.
Now put all of above aside as the highlight of the night came during the recycled Crap music set played by the people’s dj(people’s dj my ass, if he cared about humanity we wouldn’t be contaminating us with that Crap balderdash). As I was circulating around the club one of my friends bumps into a little wigger, within 2 seconds he’s got his little crew of 5 toughnuts surrounding the 3 of us. As I try to calm their hormones my other chunk of friends spot the commotion and rush over; there was about a dozen of us so the primitive punk who couldn’t string 5 words without a ‘yo’ backed off pretty fast. About 10 minutes later these 5 brave souls were in the middle of it all once again, I didn’t see what exactly happened but once the mess was over the same 5 yoyos were ‘gently’ escorted from the club as one poor guy remained unconscious on the floor tainted in blood with a ripped shirt and a missing shoe. The whole night made me sick to my stomach, a couple of my buddies wanted to go look for the 5 brave hearts to bash their heads but that would’ve been worthless. |

He works for Z 103.5 and his uncle owns z 103.5 ... that’s the only reason he’s there.
Hes the music programmer, but still relies on other dj’s, (no bodies) for new track because he has no clue.
Example: William Hawk – Sunrise ----- the only reason that’s on Z is because of a friend of mine that works there, told Danny D to play it on the radio, and once again hell go LTA and tell the masses that hes the one discovered this track and/or brought it over from Europe.:( |

I see they are keeping it in the family. I would like to send them a demo of my mixes (since I do it the same way) But I guess they would not hire me casue I would MOP THE FLOOR WITH DANNY D and becasue I do not play Hop and RnB. Nor do I play recycled beats from the 80s and 70s which is what hop is. Hip hop is th emost unoriginal music I have ever heard. Bu tI can go on pages about that. lol |

Well we can argue about Hip-Hop all day and night, but I seen some figures on worldwide sales of Hip-Hop and R&B, and let me tell you what I seen, was unbelievable.
Hip-Hop sales are higher than .. House, Trance and Euro combined. It might be crap, but someone is getting it at the stores. There is a high demand on it, and it’s still growing, most clubs play it, and most people attending like it and dance to it.
Most of the hip-hop artists have sold out every event in years, they have a big following of all kinds of races from around the world, and I know this for a fact that Hi-Hop is just as big in Europe as it is in North America.
Well there is a reason they wont take you’re demo. You are into trance and they wont play it. You will never see an all trance radio station in Canada, and I don’t care what people say, YOU WILL NEVER SEE IT, no because there is no market for it, that might be a very small part of it, but the big problem is the CRTC, they want 38.6% of Canadian Content, and if you don’t follow this format, they will take you’re license from you.
One thing that most people seam not to realize, it that, this industry is ALL politics, and it’s who you know and blow all at the seams time. I’m surprised that most of the people that have things to do with the clubbing industry don’t have major swollen lips from all the ass kissing.
I’m not an expert, but I have one thing to say to all the ones that are starting out dj’s or ones that want to get into it, DON’T SELL OUT, it might take you much longer to be where you want to be in the industry, but you’re time will come with dignity and pride. You will work very hard for it, and battle through frustration and disappointments, but at least you have don it without KISSING AND SUCKING ASS.

Propably the most in a Toronto club that I saw
but the atmosphere sucked... |
