If it interests you, that's your thing. Astrology means nothing to me, no reason to bother. There is nothing to explain, what I said is all I think about it.

Have you ever tried to study Astrology and debunked it for yourselves or have you ever dabbled in it all?

No, not really. I have only seen some tv documentary shows about it, and all there was was talks about these "energies" the planets emit and how they go with others, and that idiotic Gyromancy and other random crap. Plus the horoscope bull made me allergic to it. There might be some legitimacy in astrology alone, but the horoscope stuff you are talking about, well I think it's bull, there is no way to foretell the future, nor how the relationships will go. I trust plain psychology more. That's all.

How the frak do you imagine the planets millions of miles away or stars TRILLIONS of miles away could impact your personality? This is ancient superstitious garbage without a shred of evidence behind it. James Randi did some blind studies in the 80s where he tested a few hundred college students..first asking them their date of birth/astrological sign then handing them a customized reading from a professional "astrologist". An overwhelming majority who took part said it was shocking how close the reading matched their personality. They couldn't believe how accurate the results were. Only after everyone gave their opinion on the results did Randi reveal that he gave the SAME EXACT READING to every student..people with every birth month and every astrological sign on the book. You can split hairs about astrology vs horoscopes but it's the same stupid premise behind both. It boils down to human credulity (willingness to believe) combined with psychological flaws like confirmation bias. The only proven influence celestial bodies have on our world is gravitational..and since gravity is such a weak force, even our best scientific instruments have trouble measuring the effects of distant planets. Please don't waste your time and brainpower studying astrology. You'd be much better off studying astronomy. wow..I can't believe I typed all of this.

I'll dig it up as soon as you dig up some peer-reviewed studies in credible scientific journals showing that astrology has ANY connection to the real world. Better yet, just give me a quick and simple summary of the invisible mechanism you believe is magically influencing people over trillions of miles of space. How exactly does it work?

As I stated it's not a 100% ratio that Astronomy plays a part in a person personality but it does holds some relevance.
Since you are trying to prove me wrong and I will stand corrected if your source is compelling. So you produce your source and I will read it.

I read an article on the psychological aspects of it a decade ago so I have no idea where to find it..but I did find one video on google of what James Randi was doing. I wasn't aware they video taped one of his attempts:
a few seconds of googling revealed tons of sources debunking astrological claims.. Just click on any links below and start reading.
Astrology can be good for entertainment or harmless fun (like pro wrestling)..but please, as a serious pursuit, you'd be much better off downloading and watching Cosmos..or something to do with the reality of the universe. Don't waste your brainpower on woo.

My best friend was born a week after me, and one of my good friends in HS was a Capricorn too. I seem to get along with them, but I think thats more from being born into the world in the coldest month. :p I tend to get along well with those types as I have Decembers and February friends as well. :p
