Actually I thought it was a nice example. I never thought it was about drugs and also I don't it is, but you don't need a lot of imagination to think it is.
To me it also just was a fun track, I never think a lot about the lyrics. If they sound nice it's okay for me.
And in the Happy Hardcore period fun, and happiness was the subject and not drugs.
Lyrics of other Dune tracks you could also think are about drugs like "Ary you ready to fly" or "Hand in hand". Both aren't IMO.

What? I never said it wasn't a good example. With what he wrote he made it sound like the track (lyrics) *sounded* different if interpreted differently. I was nitpicking. Fun and happiness went hand in hand with drugs in that "period", so the subject might as well have been just that. Arguing with something that isn't there seems to be your speciality.

I don't think he meant that with "sounded". IMO he just meant that if you tell it's about drugs and listen you even might believe it's about drugs. But as I misinterpreted your answer I maybe also did his.

No you probably got his right, and like I said I was just being a dick about how he worded himself.
A lot of fun and happiness was had because of the use of drugs, that's a fact and can't be argued. Wether or not that means some of the lyrics including those words were about *that* kind of fun and happiness can be argued, the probability for yay is high though.
In a discussion you use arguments -> argue something. I'm not talking about yelling to each other. The word has more meanings than just that.

Although it has always been one's conscious choice whether to use "enhancements" such as E's or not, when going raving, and nobody will ever look down upon you in either case (unless you make a complete tit out of yourself), it can't be denied that extasy/mdma are a part of rave culture, whether you like it or not.
Nevertheless, finding all those things that are not there in song lyrics just to emphasise the above fact has 0.0% information value. Sounds like you've just recently discovered extasy for yourself and now want to believe that everyone involved in the scene is on it all the time :D

Aww but it can mean so many things life, love, happiness. All can create a rush. May not be about drugs, but all those things i mentioned can be a drug in their own sense. Anyhow I still love it...
