Any Ibiza Experts?

Hello guys, I'll be backpacking Europe this Summer and will be stopping by Ibiza for four nights during the beginning of July. I remember seeing a couple threads here a while back regarding Ibiza, so I was wondering if any of you guys could help me out with some things.
1. Any hostels with a good location and party atmosphere?
2. Best clubs and possibly who the resident DJs are and/or if there's a website that maybe shows who'll be performing in what club during the beginning of July?

Depends if you are into trance, house or minimal/tech.

Another +1 to IbizaSpotlight.
I really think Cocoon @ Amnesia is fantastic: so I'm again making sure I'm on the island on a Monday night.
If you can do Sun-Wed nights, you'll be in good shape. |

| Will be looking to make the journey for the first time this year with a big group of friends. Some of them have been for several years already so they will be showing us newbies how to do Ibiza proper. Thinking we are actually going to do the closing parties this year as it fits most everyones schedule for 2011. |

Funny that you mention Sun-Wed because that's what it was looking like initially, but afterward switched it up to Wed-Sun thinking that the weekend would be better. |

I'm planning a trip to Ibiza for the first time this year too. :)
I noticed the last year, every Tuesday night was alternating between Armin and Markus at Amnesia. Is that the trend each year? I'm wondering if it's safe to assume that will be the case this year. I keep holding off on planning my trip until I know for sure.
I've been all over the forums of the sites listed above and there's no information on the calendars yet. Are there any other places to check? When does the club event calendar really start to fill out? |

That's pretty much Ibiza. Don't over think it, just book your trip and enjoy yourself. You'll only do a small percentage of what you set out to do. |

Actually, the weekends aren't very good, IMHO.
The first year, we did Mon-Tue: 6 nights clubbing, 2 nights recovering.
Last year, I did Sun-Wed: 3 nights clubbing. I then had 2 nights in Barcelona to "recover" and then I was in Sitges for 3 more nights.
I'm planning to do the same Sun-Wed this year.
But, it really depends on who you want to see. You should plan your first trip around the nights you want to see. |
