There where days that we came from a club ate and went to sleep. When we stayed there it was only $93(us) a night. I found the room at http://www.hotelscombined.com

June- Aug. is peak season so you will find that air and hotels are more expensive. We went right after labor day.. Our flight was $580 round trip!! (us air) We didn't even have to pay for our bags since we where going international.

For those going I would go from sun-sun. There is so much more do on the island then club. Take a day rent a car or scooter and get lost. you will find that there are so many hidden treasures. We where there for all most 2 weeks and still did not get to do all we wanted too.

yep i remember 2 years ago that USAir had some crazy cheap prices to Ibiza that Sept! its like 2.5 - 3x those prices being quoted right now! :(

the first year we went we stayed in Playa at the Jet apts, in 2009 we stayed in San An at the Belamar and last year we stayed in Santa Eulalia at Aguas de Ibiza. AdeI was a very nice place and quiet. it is in a harbor area but not busy. we had a car and it was 10-15 mins away from the airport.

yes, most partying is done during the week. and go to Underground on Wed(I think thats the day)...all about the locals getting in their fun. its on the San An side of the loooooooooooong tunnel(cant be seen from the road). we had a faningtastic good time there. ask the locals. and hit up Hush in San An, again, the locals are fun to hang with. go to the Ship Inn in San An....Sean the bartender is hella cool(he loved us when we were there).

wish we were going again, our friend is working there again for the summer. he got us into many places and had alot of wicked good times...we would get to our hotel around 730-8am every morning. so much for "relaxing". hahaha

oh and going to Amsterdam from there was a waste for me...I CRASHED HARD when we got there. total emotional roller coaster. it started when we almost missed our flight but we missed our connecting flight from London City to Amsterdam due to the first flight arriving late.

yep - the lesson i learned a long time ago was do your non-Ibiza part of the vacation first.... for me i was just to exhausted to get a lot of sight-seeing done after leaving ibiza..

Hello guys, I'll be backpacking Europe this Summer and will be stopping by Ibiza for four nights during the beginning of July. I remember seeing a couple threads here a while back regarding Ibiza, so I was wondering if any of you guys could help me out with some things.

1. Any hostels with a good location and party atmosphere?

2. Best clubs and possibly who the resident DJs are and/or if there's a website that maybe shows who'll be performing in what club during the beginning of July?

Thanks!!

Ask Raoul aka Hypersky, he's an Ibiza expert. In fact, he's in Ibiza right now I think.

Maka,

You should post your question re: Hostels on the Spotlight forums. Loads of people there can help you with that sort of thing.

#2 is completely subjective based on what music you like, although you shouldn't visit Ibiza without going to Amnesia and Space, each of which has many different club nights spanning the musical spectrum. My favorite night is Cocoon, which is a party hosted by Sven Vath at Amnesia every Tuesday beginning in early June til mid September. It just depends on what you like. But definitely don't miss Cocoon or Carl Cox's party at Space (also on Tuesdays beginning in mid July).

I'm trying to get some info on DC10 and really can't find much anywhere. I arrived in Ibiza last Thursday with a presale ticket for DC10 this upcoming Monday, but also want to visit Pacha so bout a ticket for SHM there on Monday as well.

My DC10 ticket shows "opening time: 16:30." Someone at one of the ticket shops told me that it opens at midnight, and I read somehwere online that it's an afterhours morning party. That's a lot of conflicting information!

I also read that DC10 is near the airport, but there's no mention of it in the Disco Bus route flyer. I know roughly where Pacha is at, so am thinking about cancelling my DC10 ticket and just going to Pacha. Has anyone done both in the same day? If so, which club was first and how did the transportation work out? I don't have a car, so am relying on the public transport system and taxis later at night. I realize that this may not be read by Monday 8/20, but thought I'd throw it out there just in case somebody knows, thanks!

man you got some bad info!

DC 10 opens in the afternoon and goes to 2am i think... 4:30 sounds about right as to when door open. If it was me, I would go there around 6-7pm and party until 11 pm - then go back home and eat and get ready for Pacha. Get to Pacha at 1am at the latest.... they have had to stop letting people in due over crowding around 2/230 recently...

yes DC10 is close to the airport but its not on the Disco Bus route... I would take a taxi there. where are you staying at?
Dream Beamz
I asked a friend who frequented dc10 every Monday and she said

"For circo loco on Mon is closes at 2am but on wed and fri should be open all night"

Thanks! I'm staying at Hotel Algarb in Playa d'en Bossa, about a 15 minute walk from Space and Bora Bora, where I have been catching the "around midnight to 1am" disco bus. There's one that goes to Ibiza Town and then Pacha, I was on it the other night to get back to the hotel and I remember the driver pointing and saying "Pacha!"

So I'm thing about getting a cab over to DC10 around 6 and staying no later than 10, then cab back to Playa d'en Bossa to eat at my new favorite restaurant in the whole wide world: S'enramada (right across from Sankey's), then a short walk back to Bora Bora and onto the disco bus at midnight, which should get me to Pacha around 1am if all goes well... Does this sound reasonable? I was going to take Sunday (today) off, but then saw a billboard for Underworld live with Hernan Cataneo at Privilege and seems that I should be there too. ;}

element-y
doing sep 11-14 at san antonio central park apartments and then playa den bossa at jet sep 14-16. Both are pretty convenient to beaches and cars and both are loud - def not your kick back apartments.
