this is synonymous to saying "the music" because there was only 1 song being played throughout the whole thing lol

What type of sound(s) are you looking for, specifically, and for what purpose? A lot of battle sequences in newer films are accompanied by some sort of music, but the older stuff is generally pretty poor in terms of fidelity.

I like the theme, too. But I don't know that I could just sit down and listen to Last of the Mohicans. Without crying. Uncontrollably. Amidst candle-light. With red wine in hand. I don't see how you do it.

Can't believe I forgot this one! The battles give me a massive hard on. At night when they call in for illumination the sky lights up and you see charlie creeping up, and they open fire OHHH!!!! Love it! Must be the Marine in me.

I was being facetious, but yes the theme is predominant throughout most of the movie.

don't care about quality, cuz that can be adjusted with tinkering. old sound has nice saturation too. i'm generally looking for segments maybe 30sec-as long as possible that i can use as mixing material. even if i get only a series of 5 or 10sec fragments it's fine, cuz they can be linked with sound gadgetry. nothing more specific than that, other than i don't want any dialogue or music layed over top cuz that shiet is usually extreme cheese/disrupting.

I always wanted to take photos of Arturo B and Tigerpaw and paste them over the faces in that movie... :stongue:
