That CLR party has definitely thrown a wrench into things for me and I'm thinking it's too good to pass up. So, it's looking like this for me, tentatively:
Friday:
- Maybe Bang Tech in the afternoon after I arrive (has anybody here been to that party before? I'm really not sure what to expect or if it'll be my cup of tea.):conf:
- I wanna stop by the RadioSkool party for a bit in the evening.
- Looks like PVD for me since I failed to get Cassy & Simko tix. No big deal, as I wanna make it a relatively early evening anyway.
Saturday:
- CLR :crazy:
- Hopefully Circoloco is still going strong after I change shirts after CLR.
Sunday:
- Hoping the boat gets announced and is loaded. I know all the draw backs of the boat as far as sound and stuff, but I need to make up for last year when I massively failed on that thing. Plus, Vath would make it worth experiencing, and it doesn't dock too late still head out after.
- Either way, I will definitely be at Get Physical at some point.
Monday:
- Old Miami for my Cassy fix afterall.
- Will hold out at night for something announced late like last year's Hawtin party.
All in all, looks like a wonderfully exhausting weekend.

Done Miami a ton but never Detroit. So I have a question... do you guys do DEMF the same way as WMC for the most part? Skip the festival and just do the parties? I haven't attended Ultra in 4 years but have gone down to Miami for 4-5 days every year just for the parties. Just wondering whether the actual festival is worth doing or whether we should just hit the club parties. Thanks |

| Just my opinion, but the festival in Detroit is definitely worth doing. It is a lot different than Ultra. Different people. Different vibe. Different price. I think it is run and set up very well in a confined space. Plus, there aren't a ton of daytime parties like in Miami, so the festival is definitely worth the price of admission even if you only spend a few hours each day there. The night parties I went to last year were amazing, but for the most part, and especially early in the weekend, they finish up at a reasonable hour so you can get a little more rest for the next day (still, not much, especially sunday into monday :tongue2 ) |

Their FB page this morning said that they're announcing both at the end of this week. |

my thoughts too, during her set with Apendics Shuffle at the works she mentioned a bold move to come out with an alias "elora" so i am suspecting it may a different style, not sure if any "hot natured" will happen but i am super stoked to hear her new stuff as her set at demf last year was my fav |

thats crazy!! last year it was announced wayyyyyyy ahead in advance...if i remember at least a month or so and early bird tix were like $40-50 |
