| Just wanted to say how cool it was that Beta in Waterloo is getting John O'Callaghan and Glen Morrison to play there for $5 on the 14th of March. I know ticket prices are higher now but at the beginning when the lineup was unknown I managed to pick four up for $5 each, for the release of the Top 100 dj mag poll for clubs in the world. I supported the event (even though its on a Monday), knowing how cool Beta's events have been in the past and to support their appearance on the top 100 poll (if they so happen to make it). Five bucks seemed cheap for a fun night out and was really not expecting this line up. So sincerely from the bottom of my partying heart, thanks Beta for such a cool show and doing at such a wicked price. I do hope you make it in the top 100, it will be huge for you guys, but more importantly I really hope you the AGCO will grant you your license soon. See you out there next month! |

It's cool that Ryan is having so much fun with promoting Beta events. Pretty creative. And I guess the hype is still massive even without liquor license. Apparently over 400 tix sold for this event right now?
Dunno if I can make it out on a Mon night, but uni students will party at any given night lol |

Im waiting for a techno booking or something that's rare for me to trek it that way for a night. |

will be insane once we get our liquor license with International Talent every week.
Obviously our friday focus will shift but I think we are trying to establish our Saturday format.
I really hope we are LLBO soon. Hard to work so hard for nothing.
BETA is at a place right now that money can not buy. So that makes me proud! Just cant wait to be able to do so much more with liquor revenue! and do weekly events! |

I'm secretly hoping that their liquor license will get delayed so long that all of Waterloo loses interest in top40 and they can just have house Fridays and trance Saturdays.
