Here is a video my buddy took early on in my set. Spoke with Markis (the one who shot a huge portion of the night) and he said his video will be made available shortly. :)

Nice video :)
I forgot to mention. I like the new decor - and the lighting was perfect for the night :)

As for Lee's set, as I said before, his programming and mixing leave a little to be desired, but the tunes he plays are so fresh sounding, and the vibe he created made it a moot point.
I agree with you on this. There was a consistent lack of smooth transitions. It was like BAM new track...pause...BAM new track.

Kinda like Hip-Hop Dj's?

I dunno, maybe I was too caught up in the vibe / insane track selection to notice any kind of flaws in his mixing or transitions. Personally, with this kind of music / party I don't go in with the chin stroking mentality that I would for a pioneer type like Tenaglia, Tomiie, etc.

Sick thanks for the video!!

What's interesting is that, regardless of the mixing/programming, it hardly interfered with how good the music was. Where I usually I have little patience for a DJ with imperfect mixing, I still loved Lee's sound.

a lot of those tunes, especially the older disco ones have barely any intro to have a smooth transition going, you'd be lucky to have 30 seconds (if that).
