Everyone's uptight in one way or another. Cultures always clash on what's in or out. That's the uniqueness of all the different cultures. Acceptance of another culture can give one a different point of view on things, and helps one become a little more open-minded.
That being said, is this really over a guy wearing a frickin speedo on a beach? I can think of a high number of issues that would encapsulate cultural ignorance better than a speedo-wearin' European over in the states. But while we're on the subject, was it a speedo, or one of those high cut bikini bottoms someone would buy from Victoria's Secret? Da hell you wearin' a speedo on a beach for, man? Geez man, you want to get laughed at? You wierdo, you!

it has nothing to so with being uptight. Its just fashion. If an african lady from the chabubu tribe went to europe and had elephant tusks piercing her swingers and was wearing no clothes but a bamboo dress and face paint, people in europe would be like wtf?!?!
does that mean theyre sooo uptight because in the chabubu tribe this everyday formal wear??? no, it just means its foreign to everyone. |
