dunno about guv in particular. but for my taste, generally bookings in toronto got much better in the recent years (maybe last 2 years), before the djs that i liked rarely/never used to be brought to toronto, now they come to fw from time to time and sometimes to other clubs around the city, which I cant complain about. The guv, i dunno i dont think their formula has changed that much, but they do bring good djs from time to time )

Guv was Guv (at least to me) because of the type of music they'd play and how I couldn't hear that on regular radio. That's why I went there...I wish they could go back to that and push boundaries and just throw amazing parties regularly as compared to just less than 5 a year. :( |

Part of it I'll admit though was the newness of the music, tracks ID'd that were played out of the blue and went home right after looking everywhere to find out wth it was. Whatever happened to that? (and less vocal tunage saturation?).
I may just drop by on a regular night, just out of curiosity...

I'm not mr negative and will usually have a good time wherever but nostalgia and hoping something good comes back WITH the scene we have now isn't so wrong IMO. |

As for what people like, sure...there IS some semblance though of what is considered 'good' and makes an insane quality party IMO. |
