I laugh at the Knicks.
New CBA will probably mean they're ed come free agency (no cap space paying Melo/Amare $20mill each), and they just gave up all their young talent. Melo/Amare won't be enough to win a ring. It'll make for entertaining basketball, but I'll be surprised if they make it past the 2nd round of the playoffs. No defense, no other players, ya -- have fun with that Knicks' fans! |

In the NBA you win championships by getting 2-3 superstars and a supporting cast. The Knicks have those superstars now so they're definitely a legit threat. Billups and Fields will be getting WIDE open looks with teams double-teaming either Melo or Amare.
The Knicks are now the #3 team in the east behind the Celtics and Heat, and a contender if not this season, but next. |

Which teams would you say are better in the east now than the Knicks besides the Heat and Celtics? |

You don't just throw any 2 superstars together and win a ring. (Payton/Kemp, Stockton/Malone). They have to be complementing pieces which Anthony/Amare are not. Neither one really creates for the rest of his team. They're both off the charts scorers who play no defense and who don't pass too well.
And I'll take Rose/Deng/Boozer/Noah over Anthony/Amare any day of the week. Knicks would be lucky to be considered top4 in the East. |

| Knicks are better now than they were yesterday, but they are not beating Cs or Heat in 7 games. |

It doesn't matter. The Knicks are going to easily outscore the Bulls by a landslide with Amare/Anthony. |

The C's will be nothing more than a bump in a couple more seasons.
You need to worry about Chicago and Derrick Rose posterizing Amare like Jordan/Pippen used to. |

LOL!
And outscoring opponents by a landslide worked so well for GSW/Phoenix the last 5-6 seasons. Nothing more than entertaining basketball. Need defense and teamwork to win a ring. |
