Totally agreed. I don't know the context of the cop's statement or anything, I was only responding to your specific post. Too often I see comments from women who say things like "I should be able to wear NOTHING (ok, I'm exagerating) and not even have a man LOOK at me!!!" And it's simply unrealistic. |

| didn't read all of this thread but have you guys ever considered (consciously, i mean) that the if problem is girls dressing too nicely sexy, then it means that guys are unable to control themselves. like we are some kind of natural barbarians. if this were at all true, we would have all been locked up a long time ago for the greater good. |

No, because not every guy is willing to run around raping every single girl that happens to dress all sexy-like. Believe it or not, there are women that can't control themselves either. Lesbian rape, for one, is not unheard of (and may be way more common than we believe), and women raping men can also happen, although it's even more under-reported than when women are raped. |
