make it primus, I did.. its not bad.. although I've had more service outages that I should of, not to forget that once I got subscribed, it worked for a bit, then bell decided to take out the linecard enabling my dsl connection... 4 days down time there |

find a provider that will let you buy ur own DSL modem.. that'll cut down ur monthly costs.. |

| I have Sympatico aswell .... did 4.8 gigs in 3 days. And I thought I was taking it easy with the downloading .... gues not. DSL sucks in many ways !!! The Sympatico manager program hogs up so much memory and it makes my PC freeze for 30 sec alot of the time. |

i have switched to accessv for almost 2 months now and its perfect. No down time yet, speeds going to 130K/sec down and 17K/up. I bought my own modem and the monthlies are 25$ for the first 3 months, then 30$/month. www.accessv.com

i agree with ahlamalek ..get that or get rogers no caps. and if my memory serves right rogers has a special promo for 4 months for 24.95
and after that the regular fee of 44.95
i have rogers i get 150-160k downloads and 20-25k uploads.
or you can try rogers for 30 days and give it back ..no contracts etc
infact i have the number for one of their telemarketing companys whom i used to work for they can give you a good deal because they are rogers.

| I went to a computer store that I know about them ordering anything you want and just gave them the model number and the brand of the DSL modem I wanted... thats it. Payed 160$ with all taxes. Its an external modem tho... I know you could find internal ones for about a 100$ and some USB ones too for about 120$. Try avoid GVC, they'll work fine but aren't the best. |

| Rogers? they friggin Threaten you when u got a lot of transfers. My friend got an e-mail from them accusing him of running an FTP server (which is not allowed by rogers but is allowed by bell). WTF. I got sympatico Ultra and I can't complain except for the price. I heard of this company called Echo that is in 'Sauga. I will check them out |

And Sympatico is said to a en sympatico~
once thought sympatico is favoured over cable not too long ago...
