Random clubbing mishaps (pg. 3)

Wine bottle smashed to make sharp and stabb into fleshy part of the thigh - 108 Parking lot
Gun shot to the head outside of G Spot when I was outside of Lucid.
Guv is commendable with having so many people, breeds, walks of life and have it under so much control - In 7 years of clubbing there I have seen 2 "scraps" which were more like scuffles and never anything remotely violent.
Small town Ontario nightlife (Guelph, London, Kitchener etc) + Toronto 23 and under top 40 crowd are the most dangerous nite clubs hands down. |

this was about a year ago. I was at "the drink" and a fight broke out between 2 guys, a huge bouncer on a power trip went in a grabbed one of the guys, grabbed his head a headlock and proceeded to drag him. Only problem was that he grabbed him so hard that he lost consciousness because of suffocation. After dragging him for a few seconds the guys baggy pants got caught on to something and they came off including his underwear, the bouncer realized that he's not resisting at all and let him go, the guy fell face first onto the floor breaking his nose, since it was dark, it was hard to see, he continued dragging him more on the floor with the blood spilling everywhere from his broken nose and being half naked on the floor. Instead of helping him the bouncer left and the whole club of people surrounded the guy on the floor in blood and started taking photos of him naked and in blood. I was standing on a little podium by the bottles service and saw everything and this whole 2-3minutes experience was absolutely surreal to me, i felt like i was maybe at tonic or metro, or i don't know, maybe some hole in bolton. I ran up to the person to find some help and eventually the scene ended with him waking up from a seizure, putting his pants back on and walking away with a friend into the main room direction. I told about this to some people involved with the club but no one really cared much to do anything about it..
ps. this was after the switch to top 40 so you can imagine the crowd.. |

| When I'm drinking heavily there's no way I'm doing the podium thing...hell I rarely do that to begin with. |

Interesting thread...
I saw a guy get bottled over the head at a rock club in Mississauga many years ago. It knocked him out, he fell back, and cracked his head open on the concrete dancefloor. My friends and I were were above the dancefloor and saw the whole thing. There was SO much blood around him. I thought for sure he was going to die. Bouncers circled him, and he was eventually carried out on a stretcher, all while the music still played, and ppl continued to dance. I found it really disturbing.
I've never seriously injured myself at a club. I have slipped down many flights of stairs at Guv though! lol
And I agree, I saw way more club fights in small cities, and at Top 40 clubs. There used to be fights every time I went out in Sarnia. Sarnia was bad because it was a border city, and we had a LOT of Americans that would come over the river because they could legally drink here and not there. They would get drunk and pick fights with Canadians at the end of the night. I remember a guy from Sarnia getting stabbed and dying in a parking lot once. Sad. |

I know it may feel wrong, but it's better than stopping the music and everyone focusing on it. Nothing would be gained by doing that. People shouldn't be disturbed with something they do not need to know that they can not help with. |

I was at Mansion once for a friend's ex's get together. They got a booth. One of her friends ends up talking to a bouncer because Sean or Danny Fernandez is next to us in another booth. Next thing I know she's getting backhanded by said bouncer. She goes flying. Leaves the club w my friend in tow trying to calm her down etc etc. Crazy chick ends up knocking my friend on the ground around the time said chick's getting surrounded by the cops. Was hilarious.

Ya, I realized that afterwards. Just seemed so wrong at the time. |

Oh god, I just remembered another situation from two summers ago.
A couple friends and I were up on Skybar. We were on the dancefloor, dancing close to a bottle service area. There were a bunch of ppl in the VIP area, standing, dancing on top of the benches. A random girl just happens to walk into their area. Not even 1 sec of her walking into the area, A GUY kicks her right in the face and breaks her nose. And then some of the girls join in and kick her as well. She starts bawling, turns around and walks right by us with blood streaming out of her nose. The bouncers came over, and we got the entire section kicked out of the club. WHO DOES THAT?!?! I felt horrible for that girl. |

They're retards!! Even if you knew the girl and she caused ruckus or talked , there's no reason for that! |

That's nuts. People are ed. Was she fighting w someone or was it just a random mishap? |
Oh it was messed up man. It was actually done by a long time family friend of theirs who apprently has mental issues (who would've guessed?!). She didn't like that my friend was dancing with some dude, walked straight up to her, poured a beer on her head then smashed the empty bottle without hesitating. Everyone was in complete shock and it took us a good 10 seconds to realize that it actually happened cause it was absolutely unbelievable a friend would do that to another. Needless to say that person isn't a "family friend" anymore lol... |
