Random clubbing mishaps (pg. 6)

LOL I just remembered a HILARIOUS club mishap.
I think it might have happened at one of the Jelo shows @ Footwork. It was early on in the night, so there weren't too many ppl on the dancefloor. I'm dancing, and these 3 ppl come onto the floor, 1 guy and 2 girls. The girls are A MESS. First they're both dancing with the guy, then they start grinding on each other. Putting on quite the show. 30 secs later, the two girls are now on the floor trying to beat the out of each other. Pulling each others hair and "trying" to throw punches. Because fights RARELY happen at FW, everyone that was there just literally stopped and watched them go at in complete awe. The whole thing was so out of place. It was hilarious how one minute they were all over each other, then the next minute, brawling on the floor. Still to this day, I wonder what made their lovefest turn so sour, so quickly! lol |

Not an injury, but most def a mishap...
A friend of mine drove to Detroit from NYC in 2009 with some friends for DEMF.
When getting off the highway, the GPS gave him the wrong directions and instead of turning to go to the RenCen, he ended up in Canada. When trying to come back around, he didn't have any documentation (he's illegal) and the border officials proceeded to search the car where they found a load of drugs. He's being released from jail in May and getting sent back home. |

I always notice the more sozzled characters at the start of a night, as they seem to be the first to head onto the dancefloor. Then I start to envy them by thinking of the sort of epic, all-day session that they probably enjoyed! |

And they were doing K for the 12 hours it took them to get from NYC to Detroit.
When I drove to DEMF last year, I purposely stayed @ the MGM so I didn't have to be anywhere close to the Detroit-Windsor tunnel :nervous: |

WOW. It almost sounds like your friends GPS was conspiring against him! That's crazy. |

Yeah... good thing he's getting sent back home after only 2 years, if he had been American, he would've gotten 20 years with the amount of drugs he had in the car. |
