I had white friend; an acquaintance, who was interested in this younger Asian girl @ Guv one time, he asked me if he should go for her ... I told him straight up "Don't go near her, she not the innocent time and her friends are not your ordinary type of friends"
He didn't listen of course and dated her for a month. He broke up with her and she didn't like that at all. Well, her being upset and all, she told her God Brother about the break up and all hell broke loose.
The God Brother and his crew went to that dude's house, destroyed his car, ruined his house and while they're we leaving ... they set his car on fire. That dude fled and went to live at my friend's house. He even took off from work for a week and as soon as he returned to work, they got him and ed him up real bad. |

lol there are way too many.
Something ed up that happened to me, that wasn't funny: Dancing away, minding my own business at Hotel Nightclub, and this big guy winds right up and cuffs me right in the back of the head when I had no idea it was coming. I turn around and I'm surrounded by 2 or 3 guys, and I just walked away. It was completely unprovoked, and I still don't know what happened to this day.
Funny things I've heard about : The guy jumping off the Skybar, and running straight into a cab.
Funny things I've seen/experienced:
- The naked guy at System
- Getting cleared out of the Kool Haus by the emergency task force because someone climbed up in the rafters (Deep Dish Global Underground 025 - Toronto party @ Guv, 2004)
- Wayyyy too much to list |

You told me about that Hotel thing. Still can't believe it.
Also, how the hell could I forget about that naked skazn at the System frontroom. So nasty! Even the bouncer didn't want to go near him.
Koolhaus rafters thing was crazy. I was in Guv, could've stayed there, didn't like the music so I left and snuck my way back into the Koolhaus (bad mistake), only to end up getting booted out because of spiderman. Was it true as soon as he came down from the rafters he asked 'what time is mark o coming on'? Or is that just a rumour? |

When I was a teenager, growing with the triads and youth gangs was something normal. I soon realize it's a part of my culture, either your friends or family members are part of it and you'll be exposed it in many ways. I was never part of any organizations, but I knew everyone from every district of Toronto for my age group. I was a lone ranger, always stuck between to friends, since each group had beef with each other and worked out very well in the long run for me.
In my very early years ...
I went to this famous all age club a few times; every teenage gangster, punk and troublemaker attended this place. There was always fights, conflicts and gang wars happening ever friday night. This one time I was there, this dude started making trouble with my buddy and of course I backed up him. My buddy gets on the pay phone and makes a call. He tells me "we're gonna crack some skulls tonight". I was all new to this and didn't realize he was in a Triad. At the end of the night, we followed that dude to his car and suddenly a group of punks carrying machetes and baseball bats ... start running towards him from a diff angle and they ed up this kid really bad.
Another time I was at Vietnamese Karaoke bar, I didn't realize it was an ambush that night and was only there for my friend. We we're doing our thing, drinking underage and suddenly some dude starts screaming in Vietnamese. We all rushed outside and my buddy and his friend disappeared. We surrounded these guys, and of course I don't speak Vietnamese and etc .... it looked like your typical Friday night conflict and all. Out of nowhere this dude creeps up to one of them with a neck tie and strangles him from behind and drags him on the ground. The entire crowd is fighting with these 3 or 4 dudes and suddenly my buddy comes in with another group of guys, running towards us with a machete. The dude is still dragging this other guy and my buddy and his friend starts hacking, slicing and chopping him. After a few mins everyone fled the scene, I took off well before the police made it to scene and I was lucky. I catch up with my friend a few weeks later and asked him why did he do that? "I had a job to do, I personally didn;t know him nor do I care for him"
Growing up as punk, it was indeed fun and for sure ... I would share with my kids if they ever ask. Too bad I can't really talk about the criminal activities I committed, but let's just say I was pretty well off for my teenage years.
Present time, from what I'm hearing from my GF. The Asian girls nowadays rumble just as rough as the guys. She was telling me about a story one night at club, she was walking out of the washroom and this girl sliced this other girl across the face ... over an EXBF ordeal. |

I remember that night too, I was in the Orange room for Dillinja and they locked up the KH. MC L Natural started telling ppl about "If you hav friends in the KH, they are waiting outside in the parking lot for you"
I do have to hand it to Guv, so professional even when it comes to matter like this. |

Working lighting at a club one day (obviously not beta as no booze lol)... DJ starts to get into it with some people on the floor.
Ends up as him ducking, Me getting a FULL bottle of beer to the head(breakes when hit, huge bump and small cut) peices fly off into the crowd (cut a girls foot open and a guys arm, and my computer screen shut off cause of the beer. |
