Exactly..do you blame him? He still gets to do what he probably loves (which is DJ) and make a load of money on the side. Props to him for being able to do that. |

| I think he probably loved what he did before because he liked the music. I doubt he feels the same now, and I bet it feels more like work, but who can say they don't relate to that in some way? |

I wouldn't. once I have 10 mil, i can live off the interest.
so by this point, if I want to do something, I'd do it because I love my job.
once DJing becomes just work, and you no longer do it out of love, you really should retire |

Do I miss the ol skool Tiesto? of course!
Do I blame him for trying to make as much money as possible by switching his target audience? Hell no. Most of us would do it, and we all know that the more you make, the more you need to continue to make to maintain the lifestyle. Dude is not going to take a paycut now that he knows what super-rich feels like. |

A lot of money in front of you can change your mind in an instant.
And you shouldn't have to retire if you consider it work. It can now be a maintenance of living your lifestyle as mentioned before.
I don't think there is anything wrong with working after you have attained a plateau in a dj life. I think if he really didn't love it anymore he would have started a family and settled down.

The most money he will ever make is in this current time. 5 years from now and on, he will make half of that or even less.
So why not stick it out now while you can... then sit on it for the rest of your life. His legacy will still live on. But he'd have a lot more money than if he stopped today.
