Again not comparing ourselves to the Legendary Guv.
And CIRCA never had a chance. $120,000+ on rent and over $4,000,000 in the hole to start. NEVER EVER EVER had a chance to compete with GUV.
Also we do not intend on competing with the GUV, we actually compliment each other. I'd love to know the numbers of a 50 KMS radius of BETA for fans that attended the last Steve Angello / Gareth Emery show vs the previous one before BETA's shows!
We love the GUV and support any venue that represents a strong EDM scene. |

you shouldn't post the 0.75 beer purchases per patron...geeve bro...if you build it, it will come...that's not the patrons fault that's your promoters fault...respect to Beta to bringing alot to the golden triangle...and I mean that, but don't advertise you're marketing downfalls.
Why not give them a free drink ticket to encourage more drinks...orrrrrr attract a non university money making crowd who don't work part time campus crew ....again no offense...and btw I focus on this kind of stuff for a living I am not taking shots |

Obviously your not UNDERSTANDing. BETA does not SELL BOOZE currently. I was telling the struggles of only selling WATER & ENERY DRINKs at the bar and simply thanked our TA FANS for not carrying about the $10 cover.
It is not a marketing downfall, we are building IT so PPL come and when we serve liquor we will reap the benefits of such and our 40,000 students once we have liquor. Anyways, if your advice was an attempt to help and be constructive then thank-you. I honestly just do not feel we really need your help. :) Unless you can pull some strings at the AGCO, they seemed to have fallen asleep on top of our application LOL |

40,000 students??? Who lied to you? I wasn't the one crying about the "0.75"....obviously you're not understanding that if 95% of your crowd worries about cover and you have a captive "audience" of "40,000" you have a serious ing problem and if I was you I wouldn't as a club owner or promoter be ballwashing and defending myself...wow guy...ing disgusted...are you new? |

Anyways, you know absolutely nothing about Waterloo. 2011 estimates are at about 27,000 non resident students. When you add resident students I think we are in around 40,000. I am not even going to get into our young professional white collar crowd from RIM, OPENTEXT, etc etc....
Anyways, I am not here to fight with you. I am very happy and so are BETA's fans.

not scalable GTA plus your area has 6 - 7 million residents and does that population cater to guv? no...UofT crushes your student population do they make up a percentage of Guv, no? You won't get into them because they won't spend $10 for no booze and children (40,000 university kids)...I don't mind people doing their thing, but don't talk so much and throw out numbers that mean 0...1)I know about your plaza club before the fire....2)like i said i deal with number, demographics and forecasts everyday so self promoting your club means 0...I don't see anyother club owners on here crying about ppl not buying drinks and defending their club...take a page out of the books of those who have been around for more than a year...sit back...relax...take notes...as far as the "tri city" population Guelphs university population gets Beta's leftovers the next day i.e. avicci so control that overflow and I highly doubt those 27,000 students aren't there all year, aren't all kids, and all don't love going to a club to not drink...get a grip and really if you want to take this further I have been biting my lip...so relax. |

dude are you serious? that's ridiculous to bash and argue with a club owner that's willing to listen to people on a message board, most won't even go that far. No offence but if you feel like you can do a better job then go for it, open your own place, right? i actually commend them for all the work they've done so far, it's not really my type of music but it's easy to admit that they've done a great job.
