This remix pack spamming needs to stop, it ridiculous.......

I dont mind paying for parts, but this is a bit too expensive..

Great track though, think i might join this one.

Paying for remixing parts is the biggest disgrace. It is putrid and abysmal.

I understand the $1 for a remix pack argument. The $1 is more a symbol of commitment and they don't want tools to buy remix packs and randomly distribute them. But $12??

So basically the music industry has come to such a point of desperation, that they realise there are a lot of wannabe producers out there, so they charge them money for remix contests? Sales that bad hey?

LOL.. whatever.

I agree, charges for remix parts take the piss. how about, instead, asking new producers to send you an example of their productions for you to choose which ones you think deserve a remix chance. Then provide the parts / midi for free.
There's a revolutionary idea.......

We're very sorry that Beatport yesterday had set a crazy high price for the remix-package. The price has now been corrected.

This would be welcome, also it would finally finish the bad feeling of having your entry rejected , i don't know why but in this kind of contests always the most generic an unoriginal remix wins, you feel like thinking " i worked so hard, this is nowhere similar to the original and still isn't good enough for them"

and sometimes it's always someone close to the artist themselves.

I refuse to give money to any remix pack. Don't care who it is.
