High School (pg. 13)

High school was so awesome i got kicked out for being too cool.

The only PROBLEM i had in High school was when i slept with this Australian guys girlfriend...or ex girlfriend, i forget the details....but he found out...he was mighty pissed.

The following 4 weeks would be me evading him and his posse, as much as i could at least (i had pink hair, it was pretty easy to pick me out of a crowed).

One day I called in sick, and it was a good thing, cause him and his posse had a few friends from outside of school, and a video camera...and they were looking for me at lunch.

I was pretty pleased with myself that all that happened to me in those few weeks (of terror) was getting pushed into a vending machine.

Other than that, it was just gym class, beer, women, and hanging out in the cafeteria.

edit:

JUST LOOK HOW ING COOL I WAS!!!

ARE YOU ING KIDDING ME? SITTING ON A CHAIR...ON TOP OF A TABLE IN THE CAFETERIA?!

BRAD MORRIS...YOU ARE TOO COOL FOR SCHOOOOOOL!

The best part was that homework was rarely ever graded and used to determine that part of your grade, it just mattered if you had turned it in completed or not...

My year 13 physics teacher thought I was going to fail but I got one of the highest marks on the final. And I was only in year 12. I felt rather smug about that after mucking around in his class all year. Also he wore the exact same clothes every single day, which were tiny shorts, including during winter.

I locked the boys' toilet stalls from the outside one time riiight before lunch was over and made about 20 guys late for class and one of them was so pissed he kicked the stall door down. Never got caught for that.

We used to hang outside the music room and have food fights, which involved flinging pieces of fruit through the high up louvre windows. I still crack up thinking about a piece of mandarin flying down someone's tuba-hole.

Is this a serious question? I have no problem recalling high school events because I'm not an old .

ironic he saw no value in home work but now he works at home in his parents/aunts basement.

It's just laughable that he's bragging about it. I guarantee most intelligent people got by in high school without really having to try hard. I don't think anyone here would contest that high school wasn't much of a challenge. Doesn't mean they don't understand the point of "pointless busy work". God what a ing tool.

Wow, lucky that your school didn't count homework as a majority of your grade.

I'd ace tests all the time, sleeping in class, not paying attention... was easy. I never did ing homework though. I'd do big like reports and stuff, but day to day homework I didn't do at all. It was ing pointless cause I knew the .

But for some reason most schools in the US count HW as a majority of your grade, not your test scores. :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip:

I know this has been brought up before, in pretty much the exact same manner, and I'm assuming it's because you didn't do well in school and you need some way to justify to yourself that you're actually intelligent.

Oh boohoo, I know this is pointless, I just wont do it because I'm above it. I don't need this so I just wont do it. You're an absolute idiot. If the " was easy", then why didn't you take all of what... the 10 minutes it took to actually do the homework? I never, ever remember homework taking up any significant portion of my time in high school, most of it got done in the cafeteria during the 20 minutes before school actually began.

Yeah I always used class time to finish homework. Because you know, most of us advanced kids were usually done before everyone else.

Nou, are you shocked that you still pretty much have homework in a University setting?

Is it shocking to your that a system of higher education would not have gone beyond this petty, trifling thing known as "homework".
Silky Johnson
No no, I'm sure Nou could get through and advanced/specialized/honours degree without EVER having to do homework.
