Nobody bothered to import anime here when i was in high school, and the internet fansub scene (not to mention the much needed broadband) wasnt nearly as widespread as one would hope until after i hit uni (which is why i almost didnt party at all then, in contrast to the earlier high school years) so there realy wasnt much to do over the weekend but do drugs and alcohol. |

Was alright, I went to 4 high schools (and 4 or 5 primary schools), so didn't have heaps of long-term friends or anything, but that suited me alright, high school kids are retards, and I knew that even then :stongue:

All these posts and no one has bothered to take a cheap stab at IGK's ignorance of high schools because he's not being allowed within 500m of one. Disappointed COR...
High school was awful, moved from England to Australia, didn't know anyone, where I was and then coping with the trauma of being a teenager more or less compounded a lack of interest in school or anyone in it.
Think if nothing else, it probably made me well behaved and that might have stopped them from sending me off to a special school for academic retards. So just before I was 17 I saved them the bother and went off and worked on a pilots licence on Saturdays, weekday nights I did TAFE courses in sales, beauty therapy and business management for the next two years, (which I actually did fairly well at) All the while working part time in two jobs as a beauty therapist and also selling cosmetics in a department store.
High school taught me mathematics, a bit of science and how to read. There's some completely personal, sociological observations as well learned from high school that seem to be persistent after it, in that a large majority of people are inherently lazy and stupid bastards regardless of a grade or how popular they are. |

I have to laugh. My "best friend" in grade 9 and 10 used to make fun of me for being "square", and would try to shame me for not fooling around with guys, etc. Only because she was a stupid ing slut with no self respect, and everyone talked about what a whore she was behind her back.
I didn't know that at the time, of course. But I was "friends" with her my whole life, and my dad never liked her. Obviously because he saw what a jealous whore she was.
I see her around now and she hasn't changed at all. Last time I saw her she attempted to make some jab about the way I was when I was 13, and I actually felt really sad for her. Lol. |

I always feel sorry for the people that try to cut people down for way past events. You must be doing well if she had to go that far back. I have an aunt that pulls that with me and I always ask if she brings up the far distant past because she's reminiscent of a time when she could still pass as a decent human being. This seems to make her very angry, I'd change it to reminiscent of when only 1 dick could fit in her vagina for an old friend like you described though.
Back to original, be cool stay in school. Get high on life not drugs, and that kid who can dunk now and is sexy with the ladies will never develope a marketable skillset |
