| There is always something going on as long as you're open to different genres. The city has so much variety compared to bumble where I live. People here in my town go out to Applebee's to have fun on the weekends |

Glad to at least see a strong forum of people w/ vast appreciation for electronic music - appreciated.
Not that this is the the thread to introduce myself, but... hello! Been involved w/ music my whole life, and really started appreciating EDM specifically a few years ago. New to NYC. My favorite artists are BT, Digweed, and Ferry. I'm more of an observer, but regardless, glad to say hello.

I like BT as a producer although he's not in my top 5 or anything. many of his older fans seem to dislike his latest release and think he's going the mainstream route but songs like suddenly and emergency made my summer last year, not to mention every other way which is a quality song.
Digweed used to be my fav dj but I can't get into all the minimal stuff he spins these days..

BT I only like as a producer. As a DJ he's probably garbage, I have no idea. Every Other Way (Album Mix) is my favorite song of all time, of any genre, ever. Especially after listening to it on an audiophile set up. 2nd is between Hybrid Featuring Peter Hook - True To Form (Acoustic Version) and Radiohead - Fake Plastic Trees.
Fav trance song is either original mix or airwave remix of Above & Beyond and Andy Moor - Air For Life. |

you must be a true hybrid fan to know about that acoustic or armchair version of true to form. it's an awesome song, I ripped it from a set since it's not available elsewhere.
bt is an awesome dj btw. if you like the first half of movement in still life you'd like his sets. he doesn't play his own productions but his sets are some of the most kickass, rockin' sets I've seen played in a club. I took a friend of mine to see him live and the guy became obsessed with bt's live sets after that. however, his laptop symphony show is not great at all |
