I had regular tickets, arrived at around midnight, and got in 20 minutes later. I've been to BeB 7 times and this was the fastest entry I've experienced.
Tiesto: Meh, not much to say. He played some of his classics, some house. No real mixing, nothing spectacular. The main room was packed for his set with the usual Tiesto fanatics.
Avicii: I couldn't stand him. What's up with all the cheesy female vocals?? Occasionally he would start with a nice hard beat, then it would stop and be replaced by some kind of a lullaby. We stayed for about half his set.
A&B: Played a bit soft at first but towards the end of their set, they started playing harder. Crowd was into it. Their set was leading up to the highlight of BeB....
MARKUS SCHULZ: WOW WOW WOW!!! Last year this guy blew me away at BeB and he repeated that performance again. Dark, hard, pounding, relentless beats for his entire 3 hours set. Amazing.
Overall, I had a pretty good experience at BeB 17. The crowd was great, as usual. There are always a few sketch but that's to be expected when you have 10,000 people on drugs dancing all night. The line-ups were pretty short for everything except for the food stand outside of the main rooms. Tickets are getting pricey (paid $147) but still worth it IMO. |

He wasnt naked, he was on the ground screaming. It looked like he was in great pain. Yes it was near the house side of the two rooms. It was crazyness, definitely an experience that would scare someone straight...I am still trying to figure out what he was on...any guesses?
I agree the amount of old people there was rediculous. There was one guy wearing a clear rain suit of sorts that had to have been in his late fifties.
I was reflecting on the evening and am wondering how many people actually make it till noon and how "sketchy" they all are?
I heard on the news that there were 10,000 people in attendance which is about 5.000 less than last year, and there was only 1 arrest. My guess is that the dj lineup was a bit weaker this year. |

| Above & Beyond killed it! What a set. Paavo played nothing but classics, great mashups, and amazing tracks. Definitely stole the night, I think a lot of people dont know much about A&B but were really surprised (in a good way). Track of the night: Oceanlab - Satellite |
