Blimey... does that mean I'll have forfeited my chance to be a ninja if I mail it to Moongoose? More importantly, is there some sort of national quota? I don't want to put him in a difficult situation and make him the "extra" ninja in Slovakia that will have to be annihilated!
All right, I'm going to become a ninja first and then I'll mail you the book :D |
I actually do, i like that kind of stuff, and since its trilingual, even better! :D
Just one more thing though...dont send it to the wrong country! Its slovenia not slovakia! |

Oh, and it's cool around here, Kaidreas. It's 4 AM and there's no one outside. Just the pizza guy who's been here since last mo-- JESUS CHRIST!!! |

all the people I went to school with abroad that were originally from the middle states have your accent. It was just a couple words that you said that made me think of that, and I am really bad at distinguishing tones. But, people who live within america sound nothing like it only the ones that have spent most of their lives traveling. We call it the international accent.
It's the mutt accent. Some words are British sounding, some are Australian, and a very few are American. I think we are ashamed of it due to how the world currently views americans :p It was the choice of words and how you paused which sounded very American which is the base of the mess. Perhaps this is due to your exposure to popular US culture through media?
But, since you said you learned american english I made that comparison, I'm sure British kids who have never lived in England have a similar thing happen to their speech. It's just a hodge podge of accents and whoever you are currently communicating with will be the most dominate. Accents and socio-linguistics are something I have just very recently become interested in and I suck at distinguishing sounds but its still quite fascinating. |

lol goodness no he's not that!
Its definitely an unusual accent, very much public-school English/Essex sound to it, but its still got a little of the Brazilian there. |

I know my philosophising can be a bit feminine, and most linguists are women anyway, but my several posts about big titty bitches never made you think otherwise!? :p |
I apologize. Like was said, I have catching up to do... |
