I Heard this thing about a meteor thats due to hit earth in about 17 years.
Is this thing really true?
can someone verify it from a reliable source? |

Yea, there was one back in 84-85(?) that was supposed to come 'close to Earth' as well...
It even spawned a Saturday morning cartoon about the post-apocalyptic asteriod that nearly missed us.
(According to the cartoon the asteroid passed between Earth and the Moon) :rolleyes: |
