This doesnt make any sense, because 1) you know you would care if it was one of your friends who died and 2) a zillion times more people die from alcohol, an activity that YOU partake in, and alcohol is pretty damn unpredictable with its effects as well.

In both cases, drugs or alcohol, people are responsible for themselves and others (ie no driving, everything in moderation, etc...) and need to make sure they do their research (which you clearly havent, because people dont generally die from MDMA overdose/toxicity, they die because they are unaware of the effect of the extremes of water consumption: ie dehydration or over-hydration.)

I am NOT making a statement to encourage drug use or to shut down big events, as clearly people need to keep their in check for the sake of themselves, the event, and the people around them. I am not denying that in any way shape or form, so dont go there.

I am saying that no one likes the guy who cant handle his ........ but we also dont like the guy who is an insensitive hypocrite about the guy who DOES die, because that guy who died is still a person with a mother, friends, career, who was probably just trying to have a good time, just like the night YOUR friends took drugs or YOU accidentally drank too much alcohol. Everyone needs to be responsible, but lets be real, have you had a 100% success rate of NEVER going overboard while drinking alcohol? LMAO! puh-lease.

IMO, alcohol is one of the most dangerous drugs on the planet because its LEGAL and people are not careful with it....

Proof: in a study from the DEA, "only" 6 ppl died from MDMA toxicity (meaning, taking too much) and 9 deaths when a drug was mixed with MDMA. This is in comparison to more more than 75,000 deaths from Alcohol in the USA ALONE per year.

The point is, everyone needs to do things in moderation, so as to not ruin lives, events, etc.....but enough with the hypocritical, insensitive and uneducated comments! Technically, just because its legal doesnt make it better!!

  :haha:

me talking about ezoo possibly shutting down is my own assumption, it
has nothing to do with your previous post. you find my opinion
“extremely callous”? i’m sorry, should i have taken your permission
before posting it? it would have been extremely callous if it was
directed to one of my friends. but since it wasn’t and you’re already
assuming how i would act if one of my friends was in the same
situation as this guy, it makes me wonder where you stand. ans i think
your words have kinda answered my question. the rest of your essay
reply above talks more about alcohol than what this topic is all
about, drugs which in the end it’s irrelevant to the subject and
that’s a whole separate issue.

you call my opinion hypocritical, insensitive and uneducated? hmm. you
know what’s really all of that? someone who puts words in other
people’s mouths. if you don’t like my opinion that’s one thing and
you’re entitled to it. but don’t come out here bashing it and twisting
my words around. i am 100% sticking to what I said, something that
doesn’t require an approval from anyone and certainly not from you.

Oh, and I also think these s running the events need to be a lot more hardcore about making sure the little kiddies dont get in, because, when it comes to drugs OR alcohol, its always those one's who arent capable of knowing when enough is enough  I cant tell you how many 13 year olds I saw falling all over themselves drunk as fuk at Electric Zoo......at like 4pm. :disbelief

For some reason, this post reminded me of the lyrics in Green Velvet - Flash...

Thats exactly what im saying. Burak, Im not assuming anything, as I am CERTAIN that you will care if something happens to someone you care about (and if I am wrong, please correct me and I can go back to calling you "callous.")

It is callous because SOMEONE out there cares about that dude, and you went on saying that there is "one less idiot" on this earth. Nice.

I wonder, if the poor gentleman who passed in Love a few years back is an idiot removed from earth as well? (RIP to him) :( :( Please tell me the difference between what you have said in this thread (words that you "wont take back") and what you are TRYING to say, because I dont want to ASSUME anything here, but last time I checked, you said that "one less idiot in this world, people who die from Exstacy." NO assumption THERE, as those are your words!

You called someone an idiot/moron, then said you said you wouldnt care about people dying, when you not only do something equally as dangerous (hence absolutely relevant to the topic and important to point out the dangers/statistics and the hypocrisy of your posts), but it could have happened to anyone you know, as many of your own friends do drugs and/or drink alcohol.

The point of me writing you that "essay" is not for you to fly into another senseless Burak-rage, but for you to open your eyes and realize that it can happen to anyone, and those people are not necessarily one more idiot wiped off this earth because of it, just because you dont know them. Get your emotions together and realize why I wrote what I wrote.

Pyro: im truly sorry to hear about your friend, my best wishes to her :) :) <3 <3
