I haven't heard/read anything about it from anyone. I had a feeling it would not be that great and a not so good turnout.

| i didn't go, but heard he only played for 1 hour 40 min, which to me seems like a collosal waste of $50. i would have possibly considered going if there weren't like 500 other locals on the bill... |

based on the hype of previous parties he played at FW....id say hes in high demand in Toronto.
cant blame the boat....since they arent the one promoting it...and I didnt hear about this party!
so id say promotion failed |

| It was my first boat cruise so I don't have anything to compare it with. The boat which was supposed to leave at 12 sharp didn't even really start to board until 12:45 and left the dock at 1:50. There weren't a ton of people onboard, I would say about 150. Due to us leaving late Christina Cruise wasn't able to play :(. At one point(not sure of the time) we briefly docked and reloaded on FREE pizza before setting out again. The cruise ended at 5 and the music was cut off by 5:10. |

If it wasn't for the great admiration that I have for DH because of his classic 2002 EM, or his legendary set @ ARC (NYC) in 2004, or his relatively recent 2007 EM (deep-sexy-futuristic-tech-funk-house!) - I would probably not consider ever seeing him again given the lack of effort he demonstrated.
Let's just say he was there to have a good time and see a bunch of old friends (so you can't really say he bombed cause he didn't even try imo). I can see why it wasn't promoted to full-effect, in fact, to any-effect. Addy took over half way through the set if I recall correctly. Musically there was nothing out of the ordinary. Boat left incredibly late (I was there @ 11:30), so my friends and I ended almost 2 hrs in the parking lot. Thank god that we're now able to get drinks before the boat leaves the docks..
As for the party, same old fun amigos crowd.. Great friends great time!
PS: I still hate all of the people that attended the C&C boat cruise! :p |

| Really? I recall seeing some posts + invites for this on FB. And DH sucks now? Since when? I only ask because I haven't paid attention to him for some time now - genuinely want to know. :p |
