Real or not, Jesus is clearly a stud: millions of people in history either got or still get on their knees nearly every week, have a little something to drink and then wait for that exhilarating moment when they wait to fell him in their mouths :p
Not even Genghis Khan pulled that one in his lifetime... or afterwards! |

Eat, for this is my body!
But then there's the whole drinking his blood thing. Some seriously kinky stuff there.

Christians are good little sluts. I'll give them that. |
Sometimes I really wish I wasn't such a sceptical kid/teenager. Instead of being expelled from elementary school and then looking like an insolent smart-arse in Sunday school, I should've played along and made those blondes I fancied feel the love inside them and teach them how to passionately cry for the lord.
It's no use crying over the milk not spilled though :(

Totally! I loved the questions the priest asked me the only time I ever confessed. It was an invaluable lesson :D |

Oh, if I recall correctly there are laws about religious freedom. Does a Jewish person just have to "grow up" when their elementary school is vandalized by bigots? |
I think in the scheme of the Jewish Religion(atlease in America) a Jewish person grows up/becomes a man at his Barmitspha (sorry forgot the spelling) I'm not to sure about Jerusalem. See the city of Jerusalem is named that because for the most part the Jews over there live relatively peaceful with the Muslims. Thus, the name of the city. I'm sure you knew this. |

If there's nothing wrong with hating religion than there's nothing wrong with religious people hating you. |
I was going to post something similar but you hit the nail on the Cross with that one. |

| I actually was kicked out of Lutheran Bible study at age 7 or so because the first week I asked so many questions about who created God and I told teachers that there wasn't a God because there was no way he always existed...etc.. They told my Grandma that I was making no progtress and I was disruptive to the class. |

Yes, if its a choice, anyone can insult it. The one being insulted should ignore it, not set bombs becuase "someone" drew cartoons of muhamed... |
So true...
A lot of people find a lot of things offensive! Lol... That doesn't mean .
I laugh at people being offended. For real. There is NO REASON for people to be offended for someone uttering their opinion. If so, then I would be offended for A LOT of things! I'm not offended when Young Earth Creationists say that the Earth is about 6,000 years old, even though that goes against everything in science. I make fun of them because it seems as if they don't realize how full of they are.
So they are allowed to "attack" established science, but when I "attack" their view and they get all offended I'm supposed to stfu? Lol, I'm sorry, but that's not how it works.
The fact that people actually get offended is what makes the whole thing so funny. I think it was Confucius that said: "The ignorant gets angry, the wise understands." When people are criticized and they don't understand anything, they get offended and often angry. Maybe if they sit back and take a chill pill they might understand what it's all about, why the opponent is saying what he or she is saying and either agree to disagree or change one's opinion.
The "offensive card" is the worst cop-out in history and shouldn't be encouraged.
Some examples

I'm sure this would be offensive to a lot of obese people. It's still funny as hell! I respect the obese people laughing with me at this, but sigh at people getting offended by it.
If someone made a demotivator about epilepsy (I have) that wouldn't offend me at all. If it's a good and funny demotivator, I would laugh no matter the topic in question. Offensive humor is the best and I know A LOT of people agree with me on this one.
And an example of how ridiculous the whole "offensive card" is:

It's so ing subjective and frankly; it's stupid. |

to ignore the fact that religion has pretty much defined the moral and value system we live under is pretty crazy. |
"defined" (or codified) doesn't mean "created". religious values are nothing more than the manifestation of cultural norms at the time (asides from extra special stupid rulesets arguably invented by religion itself). these "moral value systems" existed well before superstition and would have continued just the same with or without religion's influence.

+1. He has every right to criticise any idea in the world, should he find a flaw with it. However, insulting religion for the sake of it is as mature as flipping your finger to random people on the street. |
you're such a ing hippy.

my only problem with pat is that he's more vitriolic and less funny than he was in the old days. i even wrote him an email about that haha. never heard back. cunt. |

Pat is a funny guy, and I agree with a lot of what he says.
I just don't think religion is rammed down the west's throat like it used to be.
I also don't believe in aggressive evangelism. Telling people they are going to hell if they don't convert and other bull like that is wrong. |

I don't see Religious extermist as being full of , I see them as miss-guided. You have to understand that these people are a product of their environment. Taught by their parents or populace and culture. Some don't want to see the facts or quickly dismiss them due to these reasons. If they truly become offended then they are weak or if they try to argue with you.
The one thing I can't stand is when they quickly draw a big fat line in the sand by saying you're going to hell. That is wishing some kind of metaphorical hate towards us Atheist.
I thing we can co-exist on this planet as what I like to call mutal understanding! I don't deal with Religious extremist on a daily basis.
The people that are Family and some friends that believe in God have very interestingt views that sway away from the conviental way.
As I said before, Religion is no longer black and white(atleast amongst the people I know... They are modifying their beliefs to there own personal perception, as these are the people I enjoy their company because Religon doesn't come up very often as we figured out how to get along. So my friends and I are beyond this discussion. They respect me as well. Case closed amongst my real friends. Now, I'm not gay but that Church that goes to funerals to protest and say harsh words about the death of gay Soldiers... If I could bitch slam them with words then a hand to the face and get away with it, you please believe I would love to do so. |

| define "extremist" though. obviously someone that straps bombs to their chest, but what about someone that works to change/uphold legislation to restrict a woman's right to choose? or what about those that restrict trading hours on 'holy' days? those that spread false and misleading nonsense about scientific facts? |

JBJ, this is purely for the sake of saying "I have money , look at me". even the tour guide said, "there's no real significant religious meaning behind a lot of this stuff, it's just what the Sheik wanted":haha: |
