i rented one for 4 days in august...as far as owning one, that. Too expensive, and too much upkeep for a second preoperty. One house is hands full enough imo.

my grandparents had the best cottage... it was on the lake in oak bay-georgian bay. i spent all my summers there with my cousins growning up. when my grandmas dementia started getting bad my grandparents had to sell. They're gone now... my aunts have bought cottages at burnt river near haliburton but i haven't been there yet.

i love having a cottage. Sitting on your own little beach drinking beer is heaven.

Yeah cottage life is the best. Wish we still had ours. Would have been nice to have it in the family and keep passing it down.
But yeah, summers on the lake ftw. |

You can buy a nice house on the beach in the Bahamas for the price of a small cottage in Muskoka.
