| I'm wondering if any of you party animals could help me out with my situation. I'm looking to go somewhere for 7-10 days (1500-1800$ budget) to party my life out. Any advice? I'd be going at the first week of august. |

| eh roman, you should do like me. Im going to Brazil for Warung and d-edge. Then mexico city the following week for a few more clubs. 1600$ of flights but im staying at freinds houses though. |

Long ass flight for just 7-10 days, plus it probably cost him that much for the flight there.
Anyways someone said Brazil... that is one option. Not sure of the price though to get there. |

maybe Cancun, may be cheap this time of year too, not sure about the weather or if there is a wet season down there, etc. Or you could go to NYC, meet up with some TAs, hook up with promoters and party there. Shouldn't cost you too much if you fly out off Plattsburgh or whatever. Book your hotel on otels.com or maybe Expedia
Vegas is a very good option, again book thru expedia. Are you going with anyone? it's cheaper if you book in pairs, but on your budget you won't be left with much to party, so party from Thurs to Mon, do the pool parties and try to bring a girl with you to bypass the lines. Don't bother buying drinks at the bars on your budget, buy your booze at a store first and drink at your hotel or in the casino, streets,etc. Also, a condo hotel like the Trump or Vdara will allow you to buy and refridgerate and microwave food, esp since you're there for 10 days, possibly.

i did berlin last year. was there for a whole month. spent close to $3500CAD for everything (flight, apartment for a whole month & spending $).
i'm doing ibiza, formentera & barcelona for 3.5 weeks this year. roundtrip flights to barcelona right now are at 778$ on airtransat...ing cheap, considering it's high season. i booked too early and paid 983$ :( still a very good price but still...if you can find someone to stay with or a ing cheap hostel, i think i'd go to barcelona for a week with your budget.
i'm doing burning man next year. i have sooooo many friends that have been & they all tell me that for the full week, considering every single expense u can think of (flights, RV, food, water, etc) it costs about $2000CAD per person to live comfortably.
you can also go to vegas, south beach or nyc with your budget...
i'd go to a city where u have friends so u can stay with them. finding a place to stay is usually what eats up most of one's budget. if u can scratch that out, then more dinero to blow on partying :) |
