You know that some of us would like to compete and make the best set in order to win this game. But how the best set can be elected by giving their DJ-name (or Tranceaddict's name) and the country he's from. The fact is that people from England will give their vote to an english DJ, a dutch to a dutch, and so on. The conclusion is : it won't be the Best DJ who will win the competition but a country.
I propose that one of the MOD receive all the sets, give a number to each set, then people will elect a number, it'll be impossible to know the name of the DJ and his country until the end, until the results giving by the MOD. I think that it is fair.
What do you think of it ? |

Listen I am no more of a bedroom DJ than you all are...
So I work hard on my site to get my name out there and from that I have had just a couple of gigs and I am continuing to work hard to make it as a DJ......
So with this comp I wish people would just have fun and stop worrying so much about the outcome and people voting towards they're own country.......
Its not like we are going to win a guest stop at Trance Energy or Gatecrasher..... All you should be doing is enjoy the experience of taking part and meeting some other like minded DJ's from this forum.
Its just good fun and you should all be happy with the mix you put in and if you come last then its no big deal. If you win then that's great.... Enjoy it
JUST HAVE FUN PEOPLE AND ITS THE TAKING PART THAT COUNTS......

Nobody's going to vote... (right?) The judges are gonna rate the mixes on different aspects. The mix with the highest total score wins the competition.
And judges simply have to be trusted. Not only here, but everywhere. If you had a problem with one of the judges you should have spoken out at the start of the compo, not now that we're half-way the compo. And besides that. It IS just for fun.
If you're a good DJ you will get rewarded. If your mix is real good, you will be top 5. You won't finish last when you have done a good mix.
And what does the country you're from have to do with it? That's just bull! If you're good, you're good, if you suck, you suck... simple as that.

i dont think country will influence the judgeing at all seeing as the judges are from 3 different countries.
style wont be a influence either as the judges range from liking prog to hard trance.
its based on your ability to make the mix flow, how well u beatmatch etc.
all that matters in this comp is that U have fun doing your mix :)
like kuffdam says, whoever wins wont be getting a guest spot at Gatecrasher lol.

why do u even care ??? yr not in this comp :rolleyes:
ppl kno that they are judged fairly and if they don't believe it so, they raise the issue at the start when the judges are appointed. i won the last comp with the highest marks coming from andih and cyrax, a german and a dutchie, i'm english, please, your point has no grounds. sorry if that seems abusive to you, it's just the truth. and i don't hold grudges apart from 2 members on this board neither which are competing (or have ever posted in this section ever i think) so don't worry. |
