i dont think moby was even that aware of eminem before that 'without me' song..
and also i saw an article in a magazine with a quote from eminem about sharing his songs over the internet.
it was somthing along the lines of "if i meet that mother****** who put my album on the internet i will rip his throat out"

I like him :) u guys just don't like him, cos u don't like hip-hop, eh ? well, I don't like that stuff 2 normally, like D12 or Snoop Dog, but Eminem is pretty cool IMO. Yeah u can say what u want, hate him. Go ahead. Just think about it and say "hey, I hate him". Go to your friends and say "hey guys, let's just hate eminem, he's a sucker"
"man, I hate him". lol, yeah just do it. But what I like, is his thinking and appearance. He is NOT a "in' cool ghetto pimp". He has serious songs (i.e. Stan or White America) and funny/crazy songs (i.e. my name is, without me). I like both styles. He just doesn't bring big breasted, nice assed girls in his music-videos, or puts his head between to chicks' asses. No! I don't know if anyone understands what I mean, but I'm pretty sure, that you guys just don't like him cos: He uses bad words, dirty lyrics (yes, sick lyrics, too), crazy lyrics and lyrics that doesn't make sense. And because u don't like hip-hop of course. mywords.

haha, not true in my case i have hip hop songs too but i still can't stand eminem one bit! i don't like how he earned his fame, his attitude, his need to be the center of attention, or how he raps about the same things over and over again. |

Im not fond of hip hop but I can appreciate his creativity in his lyrics, at least its not just '******, ho, roll a spliff smoke some weed'

| Correct me if I'm wrong - (which I probably am) - It just seems that a lot of people who ARE NOT American have a problem with Eminem. Maybe it has to do with the fact that Americans are much more laid back and less pissy about . Call it desensitization, call it tolerance - or maybe we just know something good when we see it. Eminmen is just that - GOOD. He is downright talented when it comes down to it. Who really cares what he chooses to rap about? The fact that he can rap about anything and get away with it is tight because EVERY DAMN CRITIC kisses his ass...Many young white suburban kids in America love him too because he doesn't front....not to mention the fact that he is insanely talented - and yes...white. |

Couldn't be bothered reading 7 pages
from this and other threads I seem to have picked up a common mistake, in the bag of that is without me, he says "nobody listen to techno" and not "nobody listens to techno", sorry if I've just taken the wind out of anyones sails there :p
and it's not like he's even taking the piss out of techno, he's taking the piss out of Moby, who the other week decided to speak a load of about Eminem on the Frank Skinner show here in the UK, unfortuneately for him Elton John was Frank Skinners next guest, and said nearly all of what Moby had said about him is bull.
Confession time. I've seen eminem live, friday 9th of february 2001, London Arena, and enjoyed most of it (apart from the so solid crew, they're wank). Anyone who says the guy is without talent is talking e. They may not like the guy, or not like rap, but he did some freestyling with Proof before the show for people that got in early, and he showed he has amazing talent, the show was flawless, if a little theatrical ;)
His latest album on the other hand, is dire. Nothing original on it all, relying on whats made him succesful, takign the piss out of his mum, kim etc..., and he's not moved on, maybe if Dre had had a bigger influence on the album it'd have been better....then he comes out with lose yourself, which reminds me of the good old dark days (mainly cos it gips the sample from his track Scary movie :p)
anyway, stop bitching about him, it's what they want :nervous: :p |

| I respect all types of music and i have to say he has some good rhymes i watched 8 mile good movie, crappy ending but I personally like his music but not the way he acts. |
