Excellent, excellent track with a superb lead that I feel is sadly spoiled by a mix with no bottom end :(

hmph. I can hear it fine on my headphones and on my crappy speakers it sounds too loud. And the EQ on the master has a load of low-end activity.. why the hell can't I figure this out?
I really need to get monitors, I've gotten to the point where I know what I'm doing but I just can't hear the mistakes I'm constantly told I'm making.. it's frustrating haha. Thanks for the feedback though, I'll see if I can't mess with it a bit. |

The mix sounds pretty good on my headphones, I can feel the bass just fine.
I like the rhythm and hats you've got in there, they sounds pretty nice. The melody was good overall, although I think it really shined most near the end of the track. I liked the break quite a bit as well.

Just had a listen through some £10 headphones through my TV and it sounds OK. Still not brilliant though.
I'd go so far as to say the mix sounds rubbish through my monitors though.
At the very least get yourself some monitoring headphones as I think you may be amazed at the difference it could make.
Killer lead. I loves it :D |

Probably not as they're listed as hifi headphones.
They should be good enough to get something decent done, although I'll still stand by my comments about the lack of bottom end. The lead is also a little too forward all the way through which also leads me to the conclusion that your setup is artificially hyping the bottom end leading you to undermix it. |

| im tuned in on AKG K240S and i can tell it is bass light but everything say 300hz and above sounds very balanced, i hear the 701 are hard to judge lows on though, some call it trebly even. i really wanna hear a pair though. |

i think the leads only sound too forward because of the lack of the low end, if it was there it would push the leads back a little bit |
