Absolutely. If you are not on call, or don't work in some kind of mission critical job, put your damn phone away during dinner.
When I see two people out to dinner, and both of them have their hands on their phones, I feel sad inside. |

I'm guilty of all that stuff :o
About a year ago I lost my phone and decided to wait a few months before getting a new one since I felt my addition was bad. The relief was incredible. Not having the constant distraction around was really key. The addiction returned once I got a new phone but I now have the sounds on my phone set to "phone call only". |
