Best "moment" Gui Boratto

Best set, first track to last, R E B O O T

Was anyone at Ultra last and this year? How did this year's Ezoo compare?

This was probably the best weekend of the year for me so far...

I'm astonished at how many people are saying that Gui Boratto was their best set of the day, even the weekend. I thought it was all over the place in terms of flow, and I've seen him before.

Oh, and mine is between Ida Engberg and Dubfire. I missed a lot of Carl while over at Richie, so I only caught a short portion.

Oh, and Reboot was much better than last year. He bored me there.

What was everyones favorite set?

Boys Noize. Pretty intensive set, liked it a lot. The visuals were pretty wicked.

Finally had some time to catch up on my sleep and get some needed rest from 4 days of dancing.

Electric Zoo was so much better than last year. Maybe because they push backed the main stage it did feel less crowded or maybe because tickets prices were so high. But in either case I never felt that I couldn't move anywhere.

If any tent needs to be expanded it has to be the Sunday School tent.

In terms of sets, it seems from what I was hearing and the conversations I had that the sets that tended to be favorites for people were the ones that people were calling an "Ibiza Set". Not sure if this meant that they played less of the popular house tracks or just the overall feel of the music/crowd together. If that was the case, the Sunday School tent did have an Ibiza feel the entire weekend.

In terms of sets, Carl Cox hands down, set of the year for me. I never danced so much in my life.

This was followed by:

Dubfire
Richie Hawtin(both sets)
Chris Lebing
Loco Dice (the perfect set up set for Carl Cox)

Infected Mushroom had the craziest visuals. I've known of them but was never into psy before. We popped our heads in for a minute and were really digging the vibe in there. I'll have to try to check them out for real next time I get a chance.

And I agree, Gui could have had better flow. I've never heard a set of his before, but follow his productions closely. It was just great to hear them all live back to back. I felt that way about Dusty Kid when I finally saw him. He was my favorite producer at the time but I thought his set flow kind of sucked. I'd rather be a great producer and have to work on my mixing than being a good DJ who can't write a hit.

I'll have to listen to this Cox set. I walked in and didn't see what all the fuss was about. In the past his sound has always drivin me kind of nuts. I thought it would be better live but...

I actually felt the same way about Dusty Kid last year, too. I really like his Essential Mix, but I thought his set last year at EZ was lackluster, too. It was also all over the place, IMO. That's actually a very good comparison from year to year. Even when he did Paradise Circus, I was disappointed because it didn't fit and the transition in was weird.

Oh fuk they got merged? I was in Miami so I missed out but interested in reviews for Reboot on Day 2. He played in Miami and I swear - I am in love! I know he played the Acoustic mix of Noir & Haze - Around (sexxxy). Limit to your love - the infamous closer song at Ezoo and he even dropped Crystal Waters - 100% pure love - in Miami. What did u guys hear? Is it recorded? I need moar Reboot in my life!

I have 3 vids from Reboot. I'll edit this post as they finish converting.

I heard him @ Pacha in June. Or at least there is evidence I was there but it's mostly blank upstairs. These tracks are all oddly familiar though sooooo...

Kicking myself for over sleeping their Sunday School party in Miami this year. That's what happens when you're cracked out for 5 days straight I guess. Only 6 1/2 months away!

Was Luciano down in Miami too, and if so did he play his Lady Luck bomb? Almost missed this because I had to grab another beer. I came racing in when I heard the hook play.
