Every room was slammed.

It truly does say it all! :nervous: I don't think you could pay me to be a part of that disaster.

Time and time again I am reminded why I have not stepped foot in that complex for years! :nervous:

U guys can keep on hating, but for me this was one of the most enjoyable guv parties i've been to

Both rooms look like hell on Earth. Crazy to see all the madness!

Actually it wasn't that bad in the KH. If you stayed near the back/sides there was plenty of room. I was back by the garage door the whole night and had lots of room to move around. And it was definitely refreshing when they opened that sucker up. One of the greatest parts was seeing people gathering outside the building on the street dancing away when they had that door open.

Wow it seems like the atmosphere at the Guvernment is just amazing. I've heard tons of legendary stuff about the place and remember reading an interview years ago where Ferry Corsten called it his favourite place to play.

I live over in Western Canada and it doesn't seem like anything here comes to close the shows that the Guvernment puts on or the atmosphere it creates. Really looking forward to someday dance inside that building. Thanks for sharing all the videos and pics guys, seemed like one hell of a night!

Short and sweet lol

I stayed in kool haus the whole time. I can care less what it was like in the guv. I have no complaints about the dj's, but the sound crew did a very HORRIBLE job. What i dont understand is, they were in front of the stage this time, and still couldnt figure it out. They were fine until armin came on, im not sure what happened after. When i saw armin in den bosch for asot 500, there were probably 5000 people in that room. The sound was amazing, and loud, and i wasnt deaf at all, and i had no ear plugs. I guess next time i should wear ear plugs when i come to kool haus (or guv).

And last thing, can someone tell me the name of the second track armin played when he opened? Thanks :D

Who was in front of the stage? The sound guys? Wrong. That was the lighting techs. The sound guy was on the side of the stage (behind the curtain)with his sound board. I have a pic of him.

Steve Angello killed it.... the live edits and mixing were spot on, that's how you Dj.... The first half was more of the hits and the second half he built a really deep and dark set.... Prbly the best I've ever seen him play....
I seen about 40mins of Armin before Angello came on and he was droping some good tunes... Personal Jesus.... but he didnt do the pose during this track hahahaha....
The club was busy only in the KH and Main Room, but there was space in the back of those rooms if you looked for it....
Random notes
Angello soooooo Killed it!!!!!
these kids have gotta stop rocking the glow sticks...
this girl fell off her boyfriends shoulders in the back on the main room.... what was really funny is they got up a couple of minutes later and continued to dance lol...
Cant wait for Ingrosso and Alesso next month...
Oh and I have a sneaking suspicion Angello he will be back soon..... maybe NYE.... looks at Chainamon Jay........

Yeah Jay, come on, out with it, I know you know whats going on for NYE this year.... You teased it on your facebook you bastard lol

But yeah once the Guv fines a Dj that can sell out a show they keep hiring them.... case and point for Angello and Avicii most recently.... They did it to Schultz, Armin, Deep Dish and countless others in the past until we get sick of them lol.....

Yah, that moment stopped me dead in my tracks. When I hear that crap coming in, I feel like Harry when dementors are approaching.
I swear dub-step is the ginger kid of electronic music, no soul.

I honestly thought it was one of the better Armin sets I've ever heard.

Personal Jesus was absolutely brilliant and Brute was pretty good live too.

His mixing was spot on and I actually felt he had much better flow than his previous time here for Freedom (didn't like that set so much).

as for the Jesus pose.....its what he does. Its what his fans expect and honestly he does it better than any other Jesus posers out there :)

The electroish tunes were annoying but were much more limited than Freedom which I was glad to hear. I was scared after his last time here that he too was going towards that whacked out style of music. So much new music though...i couldn't ID a damn thing...maybe its cuz i don't listen to trance too much. Made it kinda fun actually not knowing what was playing every two seconds.

Mark was the king after Armin. He always has been...still is and always will be the KING of that club. It was a damn shame to see the Kool Haus empty out like it did and imo Mr. Oliver should have been closing the damned main room like he deserves. No matter though...we stuck it out till he finished and Perpetual Motion - We are all here together and the Oakenfold mix of Southern Sun made our night.

Heard Angello's last tune before we left...holy the main room was still going off at nearly 6am. I think the name of that second last track or so he dropped is Carl Fath - 39??? Love it!! what a moment that was.

One of the better guv nights this year. Missed Lauren terribly who was in Montreal for black and blue as our whole crew was out minus her :( :(
