I find there is less and less people wanting to help their fellow man and it's becoming quite appauling.

I ran into this video and thought it was amazing...

More people should be willing to intervene and help out.

I commend the people that assisted in this video and they are all heros. :D

Seen this on the news this morning. Pretty cool.

It also reminded me of when I was a programmer 20 years ago. This guy across the street from where I worked drove his Cadillac half way off a raised four foot parking area. So there he was with his car's front end completely suspended in the air and the back still on the parking platform. He was waiting for the tow truck to pull his car back. Even though he was OK, I felt sorry for the guy and got around fifteen of my fellow programmers to go over and completely lift the front of the car up and push it back on the upper parking on it's front wheels (I was confident that our combined strengths would easily pick up the 1 ton weight and was right). The tow truck driver finally arrived and was pretty pissed !!!

We weren't heroes like in the video, but it sure felt good to help out.

amen. I hate how our society seems so comfortable NOT getting involved. Like if its not their problem or affecting them directly, they'd rather just do nothing

this video had me in tears. did the guy survive?

Although I agree with you I can understand why people wouldn't get involved. I've seen enough people get sued for trying to help others or people also getting hurt trying to help people. I had a claim where a lady sued a guy because he pushed her out of the way of a bus that was going to hit her. When she hit the ground she broke her arm. I would think a broken arm is better then having someone wipe your brains off the road but what do I know.

Disgusting. Maybe it was best if the bus did hit her.

Some people just can't be pleased. Even if their life depended on it.

This is why a lot of people don't help out. So sickening.

dope video, dramatic music is funny

I think I watched 10 documentary's about 9/11 this past weekend, some of the stories of human compassion were unreal...

I'm sure she was initially grateful for the guy saving her life, but either herself, or another, convinced her to sue... out of pure greed. There are many who wait for such opportunities to make money.

In other cases, apologies aren't acceptable anymore for accidental wrong doing. Now too many will sue because they can get away with it since courts pass rulings in favour of the dumbest things. These were the kind of things we used to laugh about south of the border, but now we've "Americanized" quite nicely.
