Watch us win 5 straight and everyone will calm the down. HAVE YOU SEEN OUR DEFENSIVE CORE? we've got so many new players. We look at teams that were patient with their young guns and now they're getting their share of dominance.
Price, Subban, Emelin, Leblanc, Beaulieu, Pacioretty, Eller, Gorgous, Diaz, Tinordi. These guys are going to our core for a long time. As for salary cap situation, by removing one of the 3 midgets, we're going to have plenty of room to sign the rest and I'm sure that they're going to get rid of one of them. No way they losing our core players.
I agree that I've never seen such a boring game from out team but patience is a virtue, and let's give it some time. Our goal is to get to the playoffs, and once we're there... you never know ( we proved it in the past two years ) . |

we've been patient for the last 18 years now...what you are saying has been said time and time again...only the names of the players are different.
get it through your head man, if it was possible to get rid of the midgets they would have done it by now. look at the recent cup winners and the model they adopted to get it. the Habs are stuck in the 90's, and their management style simply does not work...then again what do I know? I've only been following this team for 30 years.
I think it's neat that you are forever the optimist, eventually though you will wake up and see the reason every hockey analyst gives this team no shot, thinks the depth including prospects is non existent...is not because they hate the team, but because it is true.
I still love you even if you are blinded by allegiances. |

Then in that case what do you suggest? By the way you're describing the situation, we should do what pittsburgh wash chicago path? I'd be down, but Montreal will never accept being last for 3-4 years, it'll never happen.
Also to win a cup you need a lot of things riding your way. You'd agree that Washington is a better team then us but we've been having better playoffs then them for the past couple of years.
My opinion is that you need plenty of luck to get yourself a cup. The only way to get a cup is to get extremely lucky with drafts. Pittsburgh got lucky with drafts, Boston got lucky drafts.
My optimism lies with the youth. I've never seen in my 7 years watching the team soo much good youth. |

Larry Carrière will become an assistant coach.
The Canadiens (13-12-7) are last in the Northeast Division.

That would be the best news! In my opinion the best solution would be:
Trade as many veterans as possible for drafts. Try to not touch the youngsters ( Price for me is the only untouchable ) The rest I listen.
Fire Gauthier and GO get Pierre Mcguire!
As for Coach you go get Roy.
In 2-3 years with good drafts and the current youngsters that we have we can become a power house. |

Not good enough... Quebec wants the Habs to be fully french speaking team and management. I am surprised people aren't screaming bloody murder since the Molson's bought the team back. An evil english family owns the team and overcharges for beer. |

I would have Loved to See Captin Kurt to Be the head Coach, too bad they got rid of him, he was probaly crying...
Roy can eat a dick....
A lot of people going ape on the radio today, talking about boycotting all Molson products.....highly entertaining. |
