Yeah we don't have "flat" taxes. So they go up the more your income is. I don't know the exact numbers, but when you go above €100k a year the taxes are well over 50%.
I earned about €60k last year and payed 36%. But I got some tax reductions because of a pretty big loan I'm downpaying.
And then there are taxes on everything you buy, and do :p |

one of the downsides of having a welfare-system like we do is the abusers it's bound to get. there are plenty of all nationalities leeching the system, maybe the percentage is higher of some minorities, but that is probably because of failed immigration / integration-politics. |

Could you give me an estimate on a medic's salary? None of the sources I've seen seemed credible. |
