Yea. I can already see the scenario. You're sitting on the edge of your bed on early morning, through the window we can see the grey sky in the background as the rain pours on the relatively empty streets of the city. You slowly look at your hands as your mobile starts to ring. You pick it up. "Yes?" you ask in a voice, half trembling with fear. "It's time. He's here" a calm voice says, "You've known this day would come". Without replying you turn off the phone and leave it on the small wooden table next to the bed. You rise up and look in the corner at the suitcase which you'd hoped never to have to bring with you.

"Now that Chimney's here, Norway is no longer a safe place for me. My home country..."

Your location after this day is unknown.

Haha, better storyteller than that "Trance Life"-thing that is going on, that's for sure.

Pretty comparable to doctor salary here. I guess ours pay much less in taxes, though.

Yeah, a lot less. Fuel prices in most west-european countries are certainly shocking compared to U.S. gallons: http://www.aaireland.ie/AA/Motoring...rol-Prices.aspx
It's better have a look at what's left at the end of the month I would say.

Then you'll also have to look at what all the taxes are going to and what your benefits of it gives compared to other countries with less taxes.

This is what most people in Norway can't grasp and is one of the reasons democracy is flawed. Populism is bad.

I agree. I wish we had a tax structure more like Norway's.

Yes, that's what I meant with the last sentence. I'm pretty sure that none of the west-european countries are a paradise regarding that.

Somalians have a bad rep because so many of them are seriously psychologically damaged from war.

Then I hope they threw them out even faster than they came in. But Holland gets many refugees and of course there are good ones and bad ones among them.

Holland is against opening borders for more east European countries at the moment, as we are afraid it will bring us more people with bad intensions.

(Time for bed...too many typos I notice)

Gert Wilders, baby.

It's Geert, I didn't vote for him though, but he has some good points and sometimes is very funny. He says what many people think, but I bet if you get robbed or find someone with a gun next to your bed you will change your mind.
