Chim and Red. Actually, chim would be the one who wants it.

Are you jellyssimo? Do you want to be swept away by Chim, too? Taken into her strong, strong arms to a bed covered by petals coming from red roses? Slow progressive music playing in the backgroud? You want to be kissed passionately as the fire in your eyes burs strong with the colours of love?

I'm good Chim. No need to put yourself on a pedestal.

This my friend is an ugly language.

Probably you didn't notice the difference between how the voiceover talks dutch and the policemen in the car who have a strong southern accent. The policemen are from the south of the Netherlands, Limburg. When we talk dutch in Amsterdam they think we are german :) They even answer in german sometimes.
But I don't think many dutch will disagree that our language does sound ugly for people from other countries.

Scandinavian languages don't sound that ugly to us, since they are not that different.

Albania, probably will be next to join the EU, as they for sure have plenty of Mercs:

Nothing makes me puke quicker than Hebrew or Arabic. Anything with that "I'm trying to bring up a nice bronchitis loogie from the bottom of my throat" sound built into their language is just plain ridic.

In terms of annoying I'd have to say Cantonese, Mandarin, and to some degree even Portuguese (more so Brazilian than the one from Portugal) take it for that constant tonal up and down thing they do. Oh and the lisp they have in Spanish (from Spain, not Latin America) would rank it up there on the list as well.

Used to work at an ESL school so I've had a fair bit of exposure to it all.

Sorry to say this, but Portuguese is the ugliest of all the latin languages, imo. But Brazil got Gisele, so we forgive all your sins.

No, no, no, no. I love the way Portuguese sounds. It's like they took the haughtiness of French, spiced it with the best parts of the German language, and then used a hand-mixer to blend it with Spanish.

Ever heard of Galician? It's Portuguese with all the hilariousness of Spanish :p

Never imagined so many people disliked Portuguese though. It's pretty much just Spanish with twice as many sounds...

And then taught to Italians in Brazil :p

French and Romanian sound good.

Some of the British versions of English also sound nice. American accents kind of suck. But maybe I am just too used to them.

I cant stand the new england/boston accent. It makes me want to jam rusty nails into my ears.

Luckily I live in the PNW where our accent is very neutral and non-offensive unlike how it is on the east coast.
