He uses traktor with midi controllers. Two NI x1's. They have play buttons to start the tracks and they will start in sync since he uses multiple tracks, auto sync is a must. All the tracks most likely have hot cue/loop points so he can go exactly where he wants in the track and loop them. I believe the x1's also have a rotary knob that allows him to scroll through the tracks. The Maschine controller is running on the other computer which is also synced to traktor. He adds in more percussion and loops with this. |

Pretty sure the x1's are linked to tractor, and maschine controls ableton |
