I would definitely emphasize interesting. As long and he's not given a microphone or too much of whatever he was taking at ADE I'm sure it would good. |

| still cant decide whether to go to this or seth troxler. I have to celebrate my sisters birthday on one of those nights and go to an event the other. I'm thinking I may be able to convince her to go Seth Troxler though. not sure I would be comfortable taking her to CLR when she doesnt ever listen to any EDM |

no offense but imo ditch the b!tch and just get her some gift cards to sephoria and steve madden or other girly stores and just go to clr without her
it will make no sense at 5am when they are droppin bombs and your having a great time only for her to tell you "i wanna leave i dont like this" |

I've brought people that were never fans of edm until they went to any event with me or with my friends and I and most of them had fun. In fact, I've gotten people completely hooked on edm after taking them, as their first edm event, to loco dice, markus schulz, mark night (surprisingly), and ferry corsten. we stayed at all of those for 5-12 hours depending on the event. I also convince like 6 girls to come out with me for Sunday School last year as their first event and they all loved it. admittedly, I was pretty skeptical about bringing them to Sunday school but they stayed until about 2pm, went home to nap and made it back for the closing 4 hours. funny enough, the only times I've really gotten a ty reactions from taking people who did really know edm was Laidback luke and fedde le grande...both at pacha. half the group like it, half hated it. I figured those were mainstream enough that everyone would like it except me lol.
my sister is a different story. I never get to see her since I moved back to Florida and I never went out with her when I lived in CT because she hated the city until she came to my going away party/2 other friend's bday celebration at Avenue. She has been hooked since and has been begging me to bring her out with my friends when I visit in December. I'm also only in town that one weekend so I gotta bring her out if she is willing. Is it the best idea? probably not, but thats also why I'm thinking Seth troxler will be a better idea than the CLR party. Either way, I refuse to miss out on BOTH events. |
