| DT : ((((( STEREO ))))) I have a Mini Blisters on both Thumbs (again) from holding on so tightly to them rotary knobs on the Classic UREI Mixer for 8 solid hours!!! I simply feel that I cannot let go of that Steering Wheel - because I just might miss "sharing so many special and sneaky secret moments" in certain songs or tracks that can only best BE felt on such a perfect sound system as STEREO's!! Was def worth the blisters > again! Are you ready for more? I'll wear gloves if I have to for you! I Love ya MONTREAL!! Happy Thanksgiving, forever!! dt x0x |

| You have to admire his passion. My friend told me that he spoke to everyone on de dancefloor before his set. Must have felt like a spiritual gathering in there last night. |

| Yo can someone tell me what type of music he was playing yesterday? Was it techno?? |

DT is very cool and what DJing is about.
You can't be a good DJ if you don't love your crowd, even less bring them on a 8 hours ride if you don't care for them. |

I can't even describe the kind of music DT plays... house with a sprinkling of techno? I dunno it's tough to put a label on that sort of music

Danny has played differently almost every time I've seen him. He plays music from all genres. I've heard him play house, techno, trance, breaks, progressive, jungle, funk, disco, soul, even songs from movie sound tracks: everything. I've heard him play the Pink Panther theme song on hour 10 at 11am. I've heard him play the theme of the Empire Strikes Back for his last song at 4pm.
What's most impressive about Danny is that he is the master of programming all of these genres within a cohesive set. He'll switch the tempo/flow of a set in a heart-beat, which is something most DJs would never do, but he does it in a way that keeps you captivated and engaged. It can knock you off your feet. When he is on, there is nothing like the feeling of being 8 hours into a Danny T set, looking around you, and seeing everyone helplessly locked into a groove.
Danny has been DJing for many generations of dance music, and so the depth of his record bag is almost endless; his musical knowledge is immense.
Danny does have a propensity for vocal tracks and older house tracks. He used to play a lot more tribal, but now he's playing more techno (especially in his shorter sets). However, Danny Tenaglia parties are more about a feeling, not a specific kind of sound. It almost seems like Tenaglia parties are like a time machine to transport us back to a type of atmosphere that existed during a time when most of us were not partying yet, and when some of us weren't even born. |
