| The idea is to have folks leave the club gradually up to 6 am. People usually start leaving at 2am btw. But the masses hit the streets at 3am and that's when all the ruckus happens... it's much quieter if people trickle out imo. |

| Maher are you reffering to the noise made by the sound system? If so then what is the difference between making noise at 3am or 6am? If residents can no longer tolerate it then it's the club's responsability to make the venue sound proof don't you think? Concerning the noise made by people outside Malek is right, a gradual exit will help. People tend to be noisy at 3 cauz they have an audience. |

some ppl will probably have to deal with minor disruptions little bit later in the morning but it shouldn't be full blown like the 3AM crowd, so that move would have its intended effect.
Clubs will probably be fairly empty in those late hours and they will have to pay their staff so that's a bit of a drawback... as is the negative effect it could have on afters. I'm for it though, it's the best of both worlds in that you can leave your home later, party later, sober up, and, if you have low standards, have an extra hour or two to creep on grenades :p |

| I don't see the point of this for bar owners. You won't be able to sell booze and for those 3 extra hours you have to pay for staff. Douche bags will always find a way to start , thats why i try and stay away from St Laurent between Des Pins and Sherbrooke and especially Cresent. |

you guys don't get it... no one is forcing bars to stay up to 6am!
But they can if they chose to! |

Why close at 6am? Just allow clubs to be open from 10pm friday and close at 3am monday morning. Unlimited drinking and drugs. Every weekend can be a massive Bal en Blanc event at clubs.
:haha: :haha: :haha: |

So that would cut out bars / clubs between Sherbrooke and Pins. Not sure how happy those places would be though.
All I can say is, start it off like any other project and see how it does. I wish them all the best, if and when this does happen. |
