Leon Bolier's been around for a while and he's certainly not mainstream. PVD used to play quite a bit of his stuff back in the day. His style is not quite my thing but I have to admit he has a fairly unique sound; here's one of his more well known tracks (pretty massive IMO); sounds like the classic Tiesto sound from back when he was DJ Tiesto

I'm surprised Bassnectar isn't on the list. I assumed everyone who voted for Skrillex would also vote for Bassnectar, Datsik, etc., but it doesn't look like that happened.

The key to the sentence is "throughout the USA." People like Bassnectar and Pretty lights are a new breed of jam band/edm crossover artists that don't really touch any other market then in the US. The jam band scene is for the most part a US type thing and You rarely see them play anywhere outside the US. DJ Mag poll is a lot bigger then just the US market.
